Unfortunately upgrading video card does not produce a lot of effect for Eve at this point.

I wouldnt say no to new monitor though! CCP need to make a deal/campaign with DELL Idea

I've been reading everything I can about this and haven't seen anything that would even hint at what you are saying. It wouldn't suprise me though. Nvidia would definately want to test the waters of this idea before diving in. They did state that as they do not know how taxation and customs issues will work for every country that CCP will be fronting those costs for the time being. This would be why I assume that the cost in PLEX is higher than the actual cost of the card.

Just google "eve plex geforce 100". Many places are reporting 100 cards total, max 1 per account.

confirming: i have seen one guy from CCP saying that 20 PLEX x 100 video cards is needed to feed monocle addiction of a second guy from CCP Big smile

plex is 19$ (correct me if iam wrong) so 19$ x 20 = 380$... or about 348$ (if youre buying in bulk)
i think you can get gf560 cheaper in stores...

dont remembers source, but i heard rumors it will be avilable only if you have plexex for real money to not make isk farmers too hapy (sounds reasonable)

I also hope that those Nvidia cards will have some cool Eve logos or stickers, or something. That would well worth the extra price.

sorry mate. it sounds little strange (i don't want to use more strong words Big smile).

You buy plexes for real money, you spend it for that graphics card. Plexes appeared, plexes disappeared. No ISK running around. It's only started from RL money, came throught CCP and went to RL money.

The same way you buy it in shop.

I see no reasons to even organize this system this way.
