Welcome to the semi-complete piece of software that is the Eve Forums. Other things to keep an eye out for:

Percent sign breaks the BBCode parser
Links with ampersands in them break if they go through the 3rd party warning popup thingy
Too many quotes in one post don't work
Less than and greater than signs are forbidden because ~oh no HTML~
Notifications currently seem to only work on page refresh.
Weird caching makes some posts not appear when they should.
Probably other stuff I can't remember right now.

It's a jungle out there! As a web developer myself, most of these things seem trivial to fix, and I have no idea what the CCP web dev team is doing. Until they get around to fixes, watch out to not get trolled by these bugs.
