Survey regarding suicide gate scandal

Im personally am disgusted with all of this going on, I served in the Armed Forces and have sadly had friends kill themselves due to war and other personal problems they suffered, to humiliate someone in public with thousands watching a live stream and tell people to hound him until he kill himself is,quite frankly too far!

It's not just the mittanis fault it's also ccps, allowing them to get drunk,out of control and not moderated by members of staff,this for me has been "the bridge too far" and will not be continuing my sub.

My question to you, the eve player base is will you unsub or not due to this,

P.S no you can't have my stuff I'm giving it away to my rl friend, gl and fly safe (without getting bullied)

This thread's results will differ highly from the other 50 Poll/Vote Mittani threads created today. It included significant amounts of new content that gave us all something to reconsider our positions with.

I'm sorry but I am distressed about this and wanted to air my views, I've lost friends to suicide its the most heartbreaking thing to deal with,yes there are loads of threads and yes this will be trolled, I'm just asking for peoples opinions that's all,not a flame war

I know goons like to air the persona of being offensive ingame but don't you think it's over stepped the mark encouraging people to hassle someone to kill themself in real life, yes or no?

I'm flattered. But to answer your question, i have no clue. TEST alliance is as close as i ever came to 'knowing' the goons, and TEST booted me out for being too awesome.

Oh look another insensitive viewpoint by a csm member, one of the player base wants to get opinions about a subject with isn't a joking matter to most sane people but you tell them to beat it, yes I will "beat it"

That's his decision, morally I can not support or be part of a community who actively supports bullying whether I love the game or not(yes I thought this game was great)

You say that this is a serious topic so lets treat it as such. You are using moral outrage over one individual's actions to pass judgment over Eve Online and the community thereof. There are dozens of examples of why we may not want to do pass judgment on entire groups over just one individual's actions - some of which are in the news recently.

Instead take the actions as they come - both good and bad. If someone makes a relatively minor mistake, accept the apology. Continuing to rant and harp over something pretty minor is pure pettiness.
