Last time he was bragging about being a bigshot DC lawyer, he was a paralegal. That was a few years ago though. If he's gotten his degree, I'd like to hear from which school. Proof or gtfo.


He has probably discovered that law degrees from schools that aren't part of the Big Law top schools are nearly worthless in America today.

If he has crushing debts as a result of foolishly believing the stupid lies pouring from the media then I suppose I have some sympathy for him.

Of course he only has that debt because he was stupid enough to take their stupid lies seriously. And I could say much nastier things if I wanted to speak like a typical Goon.

No, it's not a get out of jail free card.

Wis is fine and more or less stumbled into 10.7 billion isk out of the blue today. Maybe if Wis had actually killed himself, or made some sort of attempt on his life, then all this damn indignation and moral superiority would be proper, but nobody came out of this worse for the wear. Mittani learned a lesson about how maybe he shouldn't get drunk off his **** on a live broadcast, that he should choose his words carefully, and now CCP and his peers in the CSM can decide what happens from this point. Everyone screaming and hollering that he NEEDS to step down and how he's a shame and disgusting and whatnot are showing their own immaturity for not being able to forgive a man who's admitted he did wrong and made amends for it, especially in a case like this where nobody's gotten harmed.

Don't totally agree with the last sentence however.

He will be asked to make further amends I'd imagine, stepping down from Chairman probably. Have to keep his mouth shut for a bit and concentrate on pissing people off in-game likely but talk of perma-bans are way off the mark.

If I believed you actually care about the game and it's future development for the entertainment of all, rather than for the select group of individuals with similar immature and reckless atttudes you represent, then I'd believe the apology.

If you really care about the game and not just your self interest, man up and resign immediately. Go off and carry on roleplaying the super villain, which of course I believe panders to your childish egomaniacal sense of worth. By all means, continue leading the herd of bleating sheep you call an alliance to glory, just don't think you can pander to the masses ("pubbies"?) or CCP and worm your way out of a display of total real life arrogance and lack of decency.

CCP if this foolish individual continues to hold onto his CSM title it will make a mockery of the organisation. I strongly suggest he is asked to resign.

I overheard some guy suggesting his kid become a Lawyer the other day because "People are always suing eachother!"

This is amazing. According to your logic anyone ever who shows regret and apologizes must be disbelieved because they might have a hidden agenda. Your pessimism is more troubling than Mittens' low alcohol tolerance.

Get real.
