We should also start banning everyone who wants to make their own Mittani thread. No other way that CCP is going to get GD until control other than shut the forum down for a week.

Do you smell what the Lock's cooking?

so should CCP start by banning everyone else too because if this is based on what his drunk ass said then maybe you should look at local or any chat channel in-game or listen to any voice coms in and out of game maybe you should read the forums eve online or any other and i could bet that not all are drunk when saying or writing those comments.

so should we also ask CCP to ban you i bet that you have said things or written things that someone would deem breaking the EULA.

A very Big NO

The loss off the CSM is one thing but he didn't do anything in game to deserve a ban. Hellcity was banned for something stupid, I don't think we should ban The Mittani for a stupid thing said while he was drunk in real life.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

I wonder if Sony executives would feel the same way if his behaviour is linked to Dust 514 via the EVE connection, and by extension PS3 and Sony themselves.

Corporate America only sees $$$, and encouraging a suicide will probably not sit well with them methinks.

Understand, in truth I am not a Goon or Mittens WUV-er or BASH-er. To me they are an egotistical clique I'd like to smack on occassion but end up stuck waiting on a skill to train and enough income to afford the PVP losses. LOL. That's as far as it goes as they are Null Pandas while I delve into wormholes.

I might be biased in that as a rookie goal I decided I wanted to find and pod his ass one day. If he gets banned I can't do that. O.o

I don't personally want him banned from play (maybe kicked fro the CSM for the drama) but CCP is in a very difficult position from that alliance panel. For all the **** it was, it happened on a stage where they need to present their best image and that didn't happen. Read the reports at Massively and Joystick. They are already having an internal review and are looking at ways to vet future panels. They had to cut the recast stream to protect advertiser dollars and now are having to field articles from a lot of places...

This isn't good for them at all and Mittens future is being decided bebhind closed doors by higher ups at CCP. They will have to do what is best for them to protect the the game's public image in an age where bullying is being stomped on both verbal and physical for a game that encourages both in its confines. Here it fell into a real life situation. It sucks for everyone, you and me too. Last thng CCP needs is for their game to be seen as the new 70's/80's D&D in the eyes of the modern mainstream press.

So maybe once again The Mittani should be grateful his runs Goonswarm. As the fan base for DUST 514 is so small to begin with that the game will be free to play and a lot of these people will be Goonswarm members. If they Ban The Mittani they run the risk of loosing those players to DUST 514.

I strongly urge everyone not to make new threads about this. We know what's happening, we're looking into things. Use the existing threads. Thank you.
