Hisec and nullsec are both boring. Hisec is just mindless carebearland and nullsec is desolate except for random botters and thousand man blobs.

True ... true.. hey dookie.. pick up the phone!

The reality of Eve is that, if you don't love it like it is today, you should probobly go ahead and unsub.

Not quite true , trade is zero risk and has probably the most reward in eve.

Regarding high or nullsec for missioning etc the answer is isk/hour null is best HOWEVER it depends on where you are in null and with what alliance since people are required to join in on OPS/killmailwhoring with a lot of alliances wich will make the actuall iskgrind for a casuall player less.Add to this local disturbance with reds in system etc .

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

Not true AT ALL; trade has plenty of risk. If you're inexperienced, you might buy things that you later find yourself unable to sell at a (worthwhile) profit, or even take losses due to inattention to details like brokerage fees. The markets could shift on you while you're working, depriving you of the profits you were expecting... or someone could sneak in behind you and undercut your business, forcing you to either modify the order (and thus lose extra ISK in fees), or accept a possibly extended delay in your funds.

Also, depending on where it is you're trading, you could get ganked. Whether you're getting ganked by a suicide fleet in Jita or a gatecamp out in null, it's much the same idea; but you come back again to the risk/reward function. Generally speaking, prices are high in null, and there's good ISK in hauling small expensive things out that way... if you can manage it.

Even with trade, it really is a risk/reward question.

Trade has A LOT of risk. Thats why any decent trader trades numerous items on several locations.

To mitigate the risk by "not putting all eggs in one basket".
