All they care about is yammering on with there pitchforks held high trying to get Mittani to resign....which he just might.

The Mittani clearly before he got scared didn't give a **** about what he said. He stated in another thread that he remembers clearly saying the guys name and telling people to gank his Mackinaws. So he wasn't THAT drunk.

The Wis is fine, was oblivious to all this **** AND made a joke about suicide

Drinking and driving is an act that in itself is a crime. If no accident occurs and no one is harmed, it is still a crime.

Cyber Bullying is NOT a victimless crime. By it's definition it requires a victim being bullied to be a crime. In this case the person portrayed as the "victim" doesn't give a rats ass about the whole thing, thinks it's a big joke, and came out 10 bil ahead in the game.

Trying to convince someone that they are a victim when they, as a mature adult, firmly and honestly state that they were not victimized is the height of stupidity.

This got exactly what it warranted, and apology for a bad joke at the players expense (even though he wasn't aware of it).

If CCP do not act then for their sake I sincerely hope that Sony do not get wind of the fact that an eve community representative has actively encouraged the harassful persuit of a player in game who has exuded mental problems or vulnerabilities without sanction.

I am certain these are not the kind of "gaming ideals" they would encourage as "entertainment" with Eve Online soon to be connected to the Playstation Network.

Alex, The reason I respect you both in and out of game is because you know when it is time to drop the bullshit and do what is right.

Yes this is my alt. I know you state that you don't take alts seriously. Yet you took the time to be serious with me when I had questions during your CSM 7 candidacy. You could have just told me to **** off but you did not and took my posts seriously. For that you have my thanks.

And I notice you take some positions on topics that frankly seem to disadvantage goons in favor of EVE. You have shown at least to me that you take the good of the game seriously in a sea of people that want to nerf everything that is not them in sight.

We need to move on past this. We still have CCP doing shiny **** while BADLY needed Corp and POS fixes are pushed off to 2013. We don't have time for this **** anymore.

I don't care if some depressed miner somewhere in the world did or did not commit suicide, and I fail to see what The Mitanni drunk-spewing words out of his mouth at Fanfest has to do with this man's mental state.

Why is there a thread about this and not a thread about things that actually matter and are terrible, for example, the chaos and violence in The Gaza Strip?
