IF The Mittani is to step down as the chairman of the CSM I demand immediate renewal of the elections. Mittani did have over 10000 votes. If he is removed and we just take someone from the end of the list we will lose the voice of 10000 players. This would literally mean nullifying the meaning of the CSM.

What Mittani did was wrong I don't deny that. But if we take away the right to vote we will destroy the meaning of the CSM.

Ideally, I'd love to see Alex keep going as the Chairman of the CSM; but I do think he's made up his mind about this.

Also, on the sheer account of all the drama this has created, his fanfest presentation has been the best in recent memory (if you call 2008 recent). 10/10 would watch again

well this all is a load of BS

i mean i have serious heartissues if i run into pvp i am forced to lay down to try to control my heart
sure i migth decide not to play instead btu in general i jsut try to avoid pvp

but this is eve i do get into pvp at which i usually end up abandoning ship only to return long after i got podded
now i did on occasion mention my issues to the evil gankers

guess what tehy jsut made fun of it
on occasion they said well lets hope next time you die for real

well so far i got lucky as you can tell but thing is this is a game
tthings get said get over it

it's actuallyl kidna weird how everyoen is upset except for the victim

Everyone that takes this game serious, any situation created by this game serious needs to grow up. You were duly elected to a position, stick by your guns. In this game our philosophies are different and we would have trouble seeing eye to eye on most things EVE related, but I will back you in this. Irrespective, his conduct was still unbefitting of a figurehead who supposedly represents the eve community. The fact this incident is now being reported by certain media just highlights how his boorish and unacceptable conduct has tainted the community.

Actually no, you are wrong, or your sample base is skewed.
Actually many of my friends and knowns (as me) aren't actually douches, were overly joky, just more disinhibited to be a joke than normally.

No everyone is a douche inside, and being one is not human nature, that's your education, your education, your life experiences that's what makes your personality. The only difference is drunk, you quickly forget your ethical barriers and quickly become more transparent.

This isnt just about them at all. Its about the future of the game. Thats why its a big deal.


Its not just about the victim, its about the next guy or the next 10 or more down the line that this can happen too whom may or may not be as well off to not commit suicide under harassment at the beck and call of a more powerful person.


You guys since the beginning have missed this point.

He really needs to step down at a bare minimum.
