Too Many Changes

My main has been offline for barely a week and half and already so many changes that pirating has become more of a logistics problem than a carebear's problem.

What has happened? Really?

CCP nerfs pirates as much as possible. Why?

Because carebears complain. They cry. CCP counts their tears and feels bad for them.

Why not feel bad for the lack of intelligence used by the carebears?

Seriously. Lack of intelligence, being lazy, and wanting a cheap, easy way to make ISK with no risk what so ever (NPC enemies do NOT count as risk) is what CCP caters to now? Maybe always? How many carebears pay with a credit card? I'm pretty positive that the majority pay with in game bought Plexes.

I joined EVE for a reason. I joined it because it is NOT fair. It is like life. You drive a 2012 Escalade? You leave it unlocked? Oh damn, it was broken into and everything stolen. You don't deserve that for being an idiot and leaving it unlocked downtown. Please, let us make it up to you.

Screw that. I want to feel the pain of idiotic decisions. Even if I make them. It's a game. So what if my boat is violenced horribly? I'll buy another one. I made the mistake to lose it in the first place. I saw a blob of rookie ships take out a Tengu. It had double webs. Who's fault is that? I guarantee you most of you are asking "How did a Tengu with double webs lose to a blob of rookie ships?", and the answer is poor decision making.

If I wanted my hand held, I'd play WoW. Fly smart, play intelligently. Don't ruin my EVE by acting a fool.

They are bad people and should be punished.

I had a dream the other night. High sec care bears complained so much capsuleers had to flag themselves for pvp. This dream must not come true.

After looking at the wardec changes, I don't think you have anything in particular to worry about, worse comes to worse they all fill the npc corps, and then it's simply systematic pushes against ccp to annihilate any semblance of safety left. I say chil land relax, and wait to see what's finalized before we tip over buses.

Who's the more foolish the fool or the fool who replies to him?

Confirming they should nerf pirates IRL too.

they didn't change anything to hurt pirates... the only thing they hurt were nub griefer corps with wardec changes. for years wardecs have been way to cheap and they are finally fixing this. 50 mil for a war dec? that is nothing
now it will be minimum 50 mil, plus 1mil every 2 people in the alliance so you have to think twice before war deccing anyone since its a bit more hefty of a fine.

the only other thing i can think your complaining about is concord not paying out to suicide ganks.. and that too is just something that should have happened long ago.

My main complaint is that CONCORD went from galactic npc police to the Iron Fist of CCP =\

When your car is stolen in RL there's someone who might bring it back. In EVE it's gone and noone cares because there's no interstellar court.

O.K., back to serious. The game always forced us to adapt. So stop whining, adapt and do what other pirates still do: kill stuff.

When the rules get rewritten, it's the creative and adaptable pirates who profit. I'm going to be vocal about any changes I see as detrimental to the spirit and environment of Eve, but in the end we're stuck with what we get and it's up to us to make the best of it. Those who are willing to take the time to learn how the new systems work and where they leave people vulnerable will be the ones who keep piracy alive.

I give it about a month before one of you finds some mechanic to curb stomp carebears with.

A whole month? Last time they made a change that opened up interesting possibilities we noticed it on the first day, did the science to figure out exactly how it worked the next, and pummeled carebears for a week before it got patched.
