Meet man without honour, lying to all ppl reading this forum, who cant even admit that he did what he did, and meet his friends - probably same trash as him.

Doesnt matter really.

Take this simple advice - NEVER PAY HIM ANY SORT OF RANSOM. He will trash you anyway.

Good luck on your jurneys - you honourless lier.

If it helps, know that N. A. is so pro that their CEO (at that time) once lost a Dramiel to a POS.... that´s no easy feat:

I am tired of hearing about people not honoring ransom. Do you know what will happen if this starts happening widespread? People everywhere will stop paying ransoms. Its pirates literally shooting themselves in the foot. This foolishness needs to stop.

Morals exist in every situation, just not the morals that the common masses think of as "morals" but they are there. Ever heard the saying, "Honor among thieves"? It is a true thing and it REALLY needs to be part of EVE. I don't expect vile people to be honorable but you need to hold to some sort of code don't you? Otherwise you are nothing but common trash

I have paid ransoms in the past; though less likely to do so now. Why would I pay with the expectation that I am going to lose my stuff anyway? There was once a time in this game where you could count on being let go if the pirate offered a ransom. Sheer stupidity to not honor a ransom.

Still waiting for the part where I should care.

To assume that someone holds a specific "code" is the mark of an idiot. If you're getting robbed on the street by knifepoint do you really think that guy has any code or honor? Of course not, and it would be stupid to come to that conclusion. I personally honor ransoms unless someone tries to screw around (i.e. sending the wrong amount, trying to buy time while I'm being hammered by gate/station guns). That's just because I need the ISK. Pirating doesn't exactly make one rich in lowsec and I hate missioning with a passion. So my ransoms are not backed by any code, rather my financial prosperity and hopes for return customers.

Another way to handle ransoms:

greedy griefer > hi there
greedy griefer > 250 for ur hulk
miner > not interested in selling
greedy griefer > it's ransom
miner > you mean random?
greedy griefer > NO - ransom
miner > on a sunday? you're kidding ..
greedy griefer > pay, or ill shoot ur ship in pieces
miner > which ship?
greedy griefer > the hulk you fly
miner > oh, really?
miner > you mean, you really wanna klick on a fancy button, activate you're weapons and kill this hulk? you know, these are only some bits and bytes in a giant database, don't you?
miner > and you really think, i will give you 250m ISK to keep these bits? p*** off or shoot, kiddie
greedy griefer > lasz warning, ill kill you

Sirs, if I may,

Please deposit the allegedly ransomed ISK with me and I will verify it to check that it was in fact procured from the OP.

As the CEO of Nova Ardour you can trust me when i say that he did not pay and the result was the loss of his drake. We take ransoms very serious....at the time the drake pilot may have become very emontional about the death of his mates machariel and sent the ISK somewhere else. However i will be launching an investigation into the matter and will keep you informed of what i find.

Good Day Sir.

They got my friend and asked him for 40m ransom, when he paid they just shot him down.
Dont pay them even a cent.

Pics or it didn't happen. Anyway, it's best to assume a pirate won't honor a ransom unless you have a good reason to think they will. Last time I checked tuskers have a rule about honoring ransoms so it's probably safe to pay them. I wouldn't pay to some random pirate whose reputation I'm not familiar with though.
