OP while you maybe right about CSM motives it's the mixed bag of ideals is suppose to be the counter balance to individual agendas. The better fix to the CSM would be to limit CSM member terms and how many members from a single Alliance could be nominated every year.

That can be easily got round. Its better to just continue the current method. So far CSM 6 has been the most successful in a number of different ways, I'm not sure why people think the CSM is so bad, since 6 is the first one which was actually any good.

The term limits would have to be for a player not a character and seeing as CCP requires a copy of your passport to run for CSM I think this would be harder to do because of the fact the CSM meets with CCP in person so you can't just hide behind a screen. Also success is different for different people. What I call success could have been to you a complete and utter failure. Success depends on our ideals an values not a set of arbitrary guide lines. IE I start a business and I only make enough to get buy and keep the doors open. I may consider myself successful even though I'm not making tons of money where someone else may not see me as successful because they see the money as the measure of my success. So to say that CSM 6 was the first successful CSM is all a matter of opinion.
