Question regarding sig radius and shield rigs.

So on my Tengu I have two shield rigs which increase my signature radius when fitted onto my ship. My shield rigging skill was at level 3 and my signature radius on my Tengu was 211.

I trained my shield rigging skill from 3 to 4 to lower my sig radius a little further, however it actually increased my sig radius up to 239?

Is that supposed to happen? Is this skill supposed to negatively impact my ships the higher level it is? If so, can I petition to bring it back down?

Did you change anything else about the fit?

No. I set the skill to train, logged off, and when I logged back in I noticed my signature radius shot up 28 points. I tried ejecting and climbing back in, but that number is set.

No change in mods or rigs.

Is this petition worthy?

I'm guessing your ship fitting window did not update immediately after you installed the rigs initially. I haven't had a problem with sig radius going up from the skill being trained higher, but I have seen the fitting window take a long time or require specific input to update the numbers.

Did you switch from T1/faction ammo to T2? T2 Heavy Missiles also increase signature radius.
