ATTENTION: All Australian and New Zealand EVE Pilots!

The EVE-Online ANZAC Day Roam is on again this year and is the opportunity for Australia and New Zealand EVE players to put aside Corp and Alliance rivalry and fight together on a roam through New Eden in the spirit of the original ANZACs… and a few good laughs.

In keeping with the traditions of ANZAC Day…

“We do not glorify war on Anzac Day. Far from it. We remember the dreadful loss of lives in the many gallant battles fought by those brave young men who stepped forward when called upon to serve their country. Nor are we aggressive, but we believe in showing any future enemy that we are so determined to defend our shores that he should think twice before taking on the Sons of ANZAC!”

So we within the ANZAC EVE community will roam and hunt and show any future enemy that the ANZAC EVE pilot is not to be taken lightly.

Notwithstanding the seriousness of the legends of the ANZACs, we are also keen to promote as part of this event, the Aussie attitude of providing a good fight whilst having fun alongside mates.

The plan is to fleet up right after EVE Down Time (11:30 EVE-time) , and roam for a number of hours, or until we run out of beer, which is highly unlikely given Aussies ability to arrange considerable quantities of said beverage!.

We will be giving a number of Australia’s best fleet commanders the opportunity to lead the roam.

In keeping with the ANZAC Day theme, we have arranged to meet up with some Turks later in the roam as they come online in their time zone. However in the event of them not pulling enough numbers for a fair fight, in the true spirit of the ANZACs in the 21st century virtual world of EVE, we might let them join our fleet and go on a roam together!

RDNx will be broadcasting live from the roam on netGameRadio and playing some great music to keep everybody in the right party mood!

Supporting the goal of being a fun event, and the possibility of all dying in a drunken roflcopter moment late in the roam, you are encouraged to leave your expense implants at home and bring along some spirits, tobacco and exotic dancers in your cargo hold.

We also have a prize pool of over 1.5 billion ISK to give away!
