I'd run several L3 missions and shot down a few Gallente ships in the process. When I went to do the SOE quests I discovered that I'd gotten down less than -2.5 with them.
I can try some of the ideas in other threads to repair my Gallente standings, but I still want to pursue Caldari Navy LPs in order to buy from their LP store.

Is this possible from another agent, other than a L3 Security Agent? Or will I have to start over with another Caldari corporation?

Not sure who in the Caldari give what LPs for which Loyalty Store....

You can run CN missions without incurring a Gallente standings hit as long as you decline all missions where you have to shoot Gallente ships. Note that any Caldari storyline mission will also lower your Gallente faction standing.

Most missions are against pirate factions anyway. Just abstain from the storyline missions and you should be good. Other than take a good look at DMCs Standing Repair Pan or whatever it's called.

I am in high standing with all empires.

Avoid killing empire factions, may be impossible with storyline missions and no one will help you with them as most people don't even watch local for comms or they just zombie through their missions not caring about anyone else until someone enters their mission.

Also travel, when your standing hits a certain point with another empire, go run for them for awhile.

"I don't know which LP store gives".Well it's per corporation, so any station from corporation gives it.
you can have the list of rewards here https://raw.githubusercontent.com/guiguilechat/EveOnline/master/Database/src/main/resources/SDEDump/lpoffers.yaml

Considering standing management :

1 - don't shoot empire unless expressively said it won't affect your standings. Be it a rat… or a structure ! sometimes you blow a structure and lose standing when the mission was eg vs guristas.
2 - you can actually make several storyline with a faction before having to do storylines with another faction. This is because the standing between empire is not -10 but something like -6, so if you gain a +10% with an empire A you will get a -6% with the empire B for wich Astanding is -6. that only works for cosmos/storyline.
3 - The skill that increases your standing gain (social) also lower your standing loss when doing storylines.

(BORING MATH HERE BE PREPARED SKIP TO END IF CANT STAND THIS ****)

basically, from 2- and 3- : you can switch between A and B to have a balanced constant standing to all empires. this balance point depends on the mutual empires standing and your social skill.

let's say for simplicity that A and B have both -6 standing.
you are at the balance point X and social V
when you gain BASE 10% with A (from storyline) :

you multiply your A standing missing to 10 by 0.875(=10% from gain and +25% from social V), so you gain
a- gainA = (10-x)*0.1*1.25
on the same gain, because of derived standing, you lose standing with B. that loss is 10%*0.6(=standing from B to A)*0.75(social V) of 10+X (we consider you have same standing for both at balance point)
b- gainB = (10+x)*0.1*-0.6*0.75

I consider we are at balance when we lose as much with one faction as we gain with it when working for it, that is -gainB=gainA
(10-x)*0.125 = (10+x)*0.045
x*0.17=10*(0.125-0.045)
c- x= 4.7

ok that's the point where you gain as much as you lose. but do we regain the B loss it when we switch ? and do we lose more than A gain ?
yes we regain the B loss because the gain is higher when the standing is lower.
adding gainB in the "x" of the gainA "a-" formula:
gainB2=gainA-gainB*0.125 = gainA*1.125

however the standing loss is also higher when the standing is higher, so the lossA2 (which is, the loss of standing due to storyline for B after we made the storyline for A) is higher than the gainA. we add ganA in the "x" of the gainB "b-" formula :
gainA2 is actually gainB+ gainA*0.1*-0.6*0.75 = gainB+gainA*-0.045 = gainA*-1.045

as you can notice, gainB2 is > gainA2 so the sum of standing increases (a tiny bit) meaning we dont lose standing in the process.
This is expected because the total standing gain is a decreasing function of the total standing(if we consider two factions) and the balance point x is where the total gain is 0, so x is the maximum standing you can reach without losing standing while switching factions

(END OF BORING MATHS)

so you CAN be at standing balance around 4.7 with two empires having both -6 standing by alternating the missions for one and the other. That is a theorical maximum. three things are not factored int :
- you will lose standing with A and B when refusing missions vs the other empire. it's a tiny bit but it's still here (1/1000 instead of the 1/10 increase for storyline). That's especially true if you have storylines vs empire that you can't blitz w/o standing loss
- other empires may lose more standing that what actually shown eg if empire C has +2 with A and -6 with B you will not reach X with it.
- real standing are a bit different than the -6/-6 so the maximum is also closer to 5.5 (I did the equation some times ago with amarr/gallente)

Don't forget that epic arc grant you a non-derived standing of +12.5% with social V.
also with connections V you have +20% to standing so your 4.7 will look like a 5.67 which is enough to make L4s with both empires

don't forget, Eve is "spreadsheet onlines" but if you don't like it you can also pew pew ;)

Thanks for the honorable mention.

It's called the Faction Standing Repair Plan aka 'The Plan'.

I have a great RL money making scheme for people that trade incursion LP for CN LP. I'll sell you two shiny $5 bills for that ugly $20 bill.

as said running standard CN missions will do nothing to your gallente standings. That said I'm not sure why you would want to run CN missions as the LP store is well, bad. Economically you are probably better off doing whatever it is you usually do and buying goods in a trade hub. And if whatever you usually do makes CN LP look good, you should reconsider what you usually do.

actually, if you are patient and wait for occasion, CN can be better than other LP sotre isk/lp wise. but you have to use tools for that.
I think 2 weeks ago 1M LP CN where worth 3B (on BO) , but only during a day so you had to be fast. I just had used my tools to make a realistic comparison at this moment and was very surprised.

LP worth fluctuates a lot.

would love a screenshot of that, as it is rather hard to believe. typically lucky to get over 1k isk/lp using sell orders with CN in any kind of volume. Right now buy orders are all under 800.

you trust me or not, really I know it's hard to believe, but if you don't the world won't collapse. But sure, I make screenshot every day.
Now please quit calling me a liar.

I started to get the required tags, then to make another set of burners ships and to move to another place, untill I realized all the places where in low sec … because it was FW corp.
I think it was CN BCS for which the expensive tags were sold in large numbers at low price, thus increasing a lot the benefit of the offer.

I realized the same thing for federation navy webifier, the tags were very low so I made a set of ships and put them somewhere, just to realize the orders were moving too fast to be reliable. Still I have my ships there. Now I need to have a good LP agent for amarr/caldari to avoid getting under -2. Nurtura is… barely correct.

using the lowest prices for tags over the last 3 months, CN bcus would have to be selling at over 200mil to hit 3,000 isk/lp, in that same 3 month span they haven't been over 100mil. The 5 run bpc might have hit 3k isk/lp, but that wouldn't be CN lp, and even there looks like the highest it got was a little over 2k isk/lp.

Since you mention an FW corp, I would assume 3k isk/lp may be possible as caldari has been limited to t1 for a while so they aren't gaining a lot of LP and some of the more popular items might spike in prices. CN LSE is at 2.8k isk/lp right now, and the CN PDS is also a similar price. But that is the FW store not the CN store.
