I don't know what this is for or why it is now included in the EVE Launcher, but this HAS TO GO!

It is eating up a TON of resources on my computer (CPU cycles, RAM, everything) and causing lag in not just EVE (including text chat, much less gameplay) but also everything else on my computer, from Firefox to fracking Mumble.

Nothing has ever had this bad an effect on my computer, even the time when CCP royally screwed up and deleted everyone's BOOT.INI file (easy enough to recover).

There is no excuse for this kind of BS in a 13 year old game where the developers have had all that time to get a clue about what they are doing.

Pretty sure that helps power the entire launcher, seeing as how it is just a fancy webpage wrapper afaik.

Mine is using 32mb ram and had a total of 1s cpu time over the last 20 minutes. Sounds like yours is kinda malfunctioning. Tried a bug report?
