I'm not fully understanding the new way to build supers, i've got the Sotiyo installed now and waiting for it to be reinforced (another 9 hours of so).

Do i need to claim sovereignty of a system to be able to use the supercapital construction facilities ? And what do i do with the "Entosis link" ?.. I'm trying to do this by myself for testing.

Yes you need sov. You will need to launch a Territorial Claim Unit at a planet, and an Infrastructure Hub at another planet. You will need to use the entosis module on those two structures to take them over as an alliance (You will have to be part of a player owned alliance for this). Once you own both the TCU and the IHUB you can use the command (/boostsov) to upgrade your system. Once you have done this you can put the Supercapital Construction Facilities IHUB upgrade into the IHUB. Once the upgrade is installed into the IHUB you can go to your sotiyo and activate the Standup Supercapital Shipyard I module. Once the module is online you can build any supercapital.

PS: Make sure your alliance executor corporation has automatic payment settings setup to avoid losing the alliance after 30 days, this will pause any supercapital builds you have.
PPS: Make sure your Sotiyo doesnt run out of fuel, as it consumes fuel continuously which means it will also pause your supercapital builds if it runs empty.

Oh the 1% of eve conundrum. Need to remove these overily time consuming ships from the game or balance it to where players don't need to play the game since 2003.🤔

Hey guys,

I'm also trying to build stuff on sisi to see if I like the way of money making.
At this point I dropped a TCU and Ihub for my alliance and I entosised(Is that a word?) both of them.
Both TCU and Ihub says it is my alliances now.

Im now stuck at the upgrading part.
When I'm at the Ihub it doesn't show an Ihub manager or something. Am I looking in the wrong place to upgrade it, or do I need something else to install the upgrades?

Cheers

you'll have to rightclick on the Ihub to bring up the ihub manager which will open up a window where you'll be able to drag and drop the upgrades to it, plus make sure you have isk in your personal wallet, i'd say about 200 to 300 million isk to be on the safe side, as it'll cost to install it into the Ihub

Problem is, when I'm at the Ihub and I right click it, it doesn't show an Ihub Manager option. So I don't have a clue why I don't have that option and was wondering if one of you knew how I could get in?

After anchoring an Ihub, Ownership of the ihub is automatically given to the Exec Corp of the Alliance regardless of which corp installed and entosised it sadly.
(Ihub are kind of like POS Towers, in how only the Corp that owns it can install upgrades (ie: silos / jumpbridges / ect.))

To install the upgrades You'll need to have Corp Roles for Structures / Station Management, and be either in the Exec Corp of the Alliance or have someone from the Exec Corp transfer the IHub to your corporation. (if you can contact them at least)

If no luck on that, You can either Create a fresh new Corp and Alliance, or join an existing active alliance on sisi (that has an Exec corp that doesnt mind taking the time to do the transfers and stuff) for Ihub / Sov type stuff.

Here's a video which might be helpful in regards to them:

If you need an alliance to join check out the stickied thread about the testing alliance. CJ is rather active, will accept anyone into the alliance and has a building system setup for people to build super capitals in. All you need to do is haul your components to build your supercapital of choice.
