PROPOSAL: New purpose for Mobile Siphons

Perhaps they shouldn't be called dead yet. Just an idea, what if:

They could be setup so that they would mine unattended moon goo asteroid belts created by the up coming refineries. The advantage of these is basically the structures around it will not attack them, only direct player interaction would result in them being destroyed.

The higher the meta of the Siphon, the quicker the cycle times and/or ore storage, thus the quicker the profit and the greater the chance of reward before the refinery owner can defend his asteroid field.

This proposal gives new functionality to the soon to be defunct deployables, and could make countering the economic gains of an adversary more easily achieved.

So basically a return to passive mining, since the owner would use them on their own field instead.

This is worse off than the one I proposed as it promotes afk gameplay, this in it's essence would only waste the time of the devs with what they have intended to do with the changes this winter.

The only way something like this would even work is if it only works when the owner is on grid, and is a one time use.
