We all know that you can drag an item/a killmail/a character/a corp/a system/a channel/a contract... to create a link in the game. The link will automatically have the same name as what you've dragged. But sometimes I see those links with other names, like a "the Code" linking to http://www.minerbumping.com/p/the-code.html. (I have no affection towards the Code. It's just a common example.) How do you do that?

Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move into the link. Type what you want and delete the unwanted characters.

You can also use the notepad ingame to create links and then drag and drop them into chat.
