tech 2 bpo's

when did the max runs of tech 2 bpo's copies changed down to 10 max rather than 100+ they used to be at least for drones and ammo? and is it by design or accident as it makes coping them rather useless now as I have some 100 runs copies from the old days? and those were only 100 runs due to copy times the old limit I think was due to max 30days for lab time per job

Can't you just run series of 10 run copies?

same as they made this horrible new industry patch. They did some odd decision back there.Lots of ppl were mad, but you know CCP, they think they know whats the best for this game. :)

Be thankful they didn't simply remove them from the game and reimburse what the original owner paid for them. I'm not sure how much impact they are having on the market but, if it's significant I'd expect additional nerfs - reduce ME/TE to match standard invention or take away the ability to make copies.

It's almost like they don't want the majority of T2 production to be off of the remaining BPOs....

That right there is exactly the problem. It's making it very hard to multi-thread production without it being not worth it anymore.

tech 2 bpo's took a massive amount of work to get as you needed to get high standings with 5 corps to get max chance of getting them from the best agents

or you can just throw the BPO into manufacturing and run it for 30 days without thinking about it.

since they streamlined invention and got rid of negative ME/TE on invented bpcs the impact should be rather small. ME-4 was 50% waste vs most bpos which were probably researched under 1%. Also the volume from t2 bpos is very limited. Looking at EANM II (aka the first t2 item in my inventory) you can make 1385 units/month on a non-industry character, with training I'd guess what 1500/month? That's a volume smaller than the daily average traded in jita. For an assault frig it is ~30 runs/month, a command ship bpo is ~15/month.

sure most t2 bpos are nice passive money makers, but at 20-100b for most of them they are really just collectors items. at the ~300m/month from that EANM II Bpo how long would it take to pay for itself? imo they are a memory of an old era, I don't ever think about them, and no I don't own any.

Not to mention that T2 BPO's should be deleted and ISK for they buying giving back by CCP;

Now we have a situation when X wealthy ppl bought T2 BPO's when they had a chance, CCP delete them from a market, and that wealthy ppl are even more rich now cause of copying that BPO's and selling for hill prices sometimes;

If they delete the bpos they should just give the players a years worth of bpcs. They can either sell them to other players and cash out or slowly modify their process to plan for the eventual loss of free prints. Either way billions of isk isn't being handed to players for nothing, the economy isn't massively impacted overnight and the bpos are gone for good.

it took 1+ year of work to get 7 chars with with standings to get lv4 agents with the right corps to get 3 tech 2 bpos and not very good ones (scorch large, small and hobgoblin drone) so getting them was not free

well i used one character have 6x level 4 R and D agent for ( x? years - T2 implementation )
never got a lottery drop.
we all received the LP point datacores evolution to not special devaluation thew transference to later implementation of faction warfare LP overlap.

the agents in my opinion lost relevance when there function was outsourced in game so long ago as use full.

would welcome any improvement in this area of game play
if deleted would not miss.

Rand D agents are not broken?
but are neither / necessary / interesting / or fun game play for me
