Hello,

yesterday after clearing a DED 3/10 I've droppend a Worm BPC and built it.

While I decide whether to sell or use it i'vetried to make a decent PvE fit .

[Worm, PvE DED]
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Drone Damage Amplifier II

1MN Y-S8 Compact Afterburner
Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
Small Shield Extender II
Upgraded Thermal Dissipation Amplifier I

Sisters Core Probe Launcher
Rocket Launcher II
Rocket Launcher II

Small Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer II
Small Gravity Capacitor Upgrade I
Small Core Defense Field Purger II

Hobgoblin II x2

With my skills it's cap stable and should have a good shield recharge rate.

It will be used moslty for high-sec PvE combat site clearing.

Any advice?
Better sell it? Lol

Hi there,

The fit you've posted looks good and should serve you well.

If you ever find yourself having trouble tanking you could look at swapping out the Shield Extender for a Shield Booster, but if you kite properly with the Afterburner on you should be more than fine. Similarly if you ever find yourself struggling with DPS, which I doubt but just in case, you may find it worthwhile to carry a 3rd Rocket Launcher II in your cargo for you to dock up and refit with for that extra little bit.

I'd say keep the above mentioned modules in your cargo for those "just in case" times, but other than that the fit looks good!

the worm should be a fun frig to play around with. I'd rather keep it than sell it, but I don't have anything I need the isk for. If selling the worm means buying a battle crusier and getting a big upgrade then it might be worth selling, but if you dont need the ~50m right now I'd keep it.

I changed a few mods, The big thing I saw was that the worm should have a medium shield extender rather than a small. This creates a small CPU problem that is fixed by swapping to a meta invlun. Also the resist amp gives more resists than a rig and em is the biggest hole so I threw on an EM amp and a Therm rig. There are also many active tanking options, but the passive tank should work for most things.

Thanks as lot for the advice!

Do you think I'll be able to clear DED 4/10 with it?

Chainsaw fit does 292 dps total, with 225 comes from drones (all skills on V). I think it will be possible but very slow. Also rockets are not very good because you will have to stay in range for some part of encounters. If you flying smaller size hulls try to focus on 1-3 DEDs and lower unrated sites. Blizting anoms will work too.
