MY damn eve just comes up as a black screen now :(

WTF NEED HELP SERIOURSLY PISSING ME OFF. BUT NO SERIOUSLY.
But no my eve is ****** abd ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling making sure I don't have any files on my computer that would **** with it and nothing theres abosolutely zero ccp and eve files and I cant get to to launch ive seriously thought about f disking my computer and starting from scratch. but don't care to do that

Well, at least I know I'm not alone. Not impressive CCP. Decide to check out the game after 2 years away and it won't even run.

Then again, you did once push a patch to my PC that was legitimately termed a virus, so I suppose this isn't too bad.

Same here, I can login with the launcher just fine and hit the play button. Everything is normal up to this point. Then the main screen comes up and the popup windows appear that say "loading bulk data" etc.. then it goes to a black screen and just sits there never loading anything else.

Not sure what to do, everything was fine last night when I logged in, then today when I get home from work this happens.

Would like some feedback as to what is going on!

I've had the same - Subscribed less that a week ago, not very impressed with the game so far. Not been able to play since getting the last update. I can log into the Client but as soon as I hit play I get a black screen which I cant tab out of; the only way to get to anything is to hold the power button and reboot.

No idea on how I can fix this!

Launch the eve online laucher and then press the icon left of the the minimize screen and go down to shared cache and select..
Press the verify and then permissions options to fix all errors. Once that has done its thing relaunch the launcher and log in as normal... Hope this helps Smile
