There is going to be a fair bit of text to read below. The reason for this is when looking to recruit people it's better to be as open and honest as possible. Why? So you can get the recruits who are a good fit for us, and us for them. We won't try and sell ourselves as something we are not or change the things we say just to fit around what someone says they are looking for.

The goal is to gather some guys that want to PVP and help a small alliance grow into a bigger alliance. Do you need to be already excelling at PVP and concerned about the colour of your killboard? No. In fact we prefer that you were not like this at all. Do you even need to be a guy? Nope. You just need decent maturity and the social awareness that you would use in the real world. i.e don't be a slur spouting idiot.

- Timezones
Interstellar Nuclear Penguins are mainly a UK/EU based alliance with a sprinkling of people from North America, our most active times are Monday - Thursday 18:00 / 02:00 eve time with it being busier between 20:00 and Midnight eve time. Weekends vary depending on how much real life people tend to participate in.

There is no pressure do do anything that you don't want, we will try and make sure your a good fit for what we do when we speak to you. r/l comes first. this is just a game.

- Focus
We do a lot of PVE focused stuff at the moment either solo or in fleets, we tend to raid the C3 static for this, as we grow we will become more PVP orientated and activities will revolve around finding people to explode either in a wormhole (ours or someone elses) or out in one of the low for null sec exits that pop up and I imagine our fleet sizes would be classed as small/medium sized.

As we are wanting more PVP, we are looking for likeminded players so we can ramp up that kind of content but currently there is no guarantee that you find someone online willing to lead PVP fleets all the time, we are small (but growing) and as we get more people then more fleets will be organised. The fleets that we do have currently tend to go to low sec but we will be introducing more null sec roams too. If you want large ti-di ravaged epic fleet battles or dream of a blue doughnut coalition then we are not for you.

- Living in a Wormhole
We live in a C2 pulsar that has a high sec and a C3 static. We have a few people that scan down the chain and could do with a few more people that like scanning to help us find those nice exits so we can go PVP more. We let the lower SP players do the C2 and the higher SP (with lower SP if they want to) do the C3 for isk making. We also have a Citadel to live out of so no living out of a POS. Sometimes you will need to be able to find your own content too. We may also be moving to a higher class WH in the future (probably a C4).

- Logistics
Our high sec exit is rarely more than 15 jumps from a trade hub but we have players that can fly freighters and would be happy to bring stuff nearer to the Wormhole for you.

- Making ISK
We have a number of high yield planets with our own POCOs for PI, this can generate a healthy income for little work. The sigs/anoms in our C2 home are generally left for the lower SP players and the C3 static is for anyone that wants to make isk from the combat sites in there, some people do these solo although we do encourage working as a group and get a fleet up several times a week for PVE to the C3. You can also scan throuh the chain looking for exploration sites. Or if you feel inclined you can mine the few ore sites that we get but we are not an industrial corp. There are also a million and one gas sites that you can ninja huff.

- Overall
We are a small alliance consisting of two corporations, we are simply looking to build up our numbers and activity in EU TZ so we can get out and PVP more. (we will happily take US or even AU TZ but we are certainly not strong in those timezones at the moment).

What we are looking for:
Arrow EUTZ Based

Arrow 5m Skillpoints (can be flexible on that to a certain degree), no trial accounts. Will potentially take Alpha’s.

Arrow Willingness to scan the chain and update Pathfinder with the format that we use (the s/w we use to map WH space).

Arrow Main focus is to PVP, the PVE and isk making opportunities are there too but PVP is what we are here for. So there will be times when you need to stop the ISK farming and jump in on a PVP op

Arrow Be able to fly, or a willingness to train into and use our doctrines, and have ships available for the roams that will be organised.

Arrow Use of a headset and mic, we use discord for coms. (Listening only is OK, but the ability to talk on coms is a massive advantage.)

What we can offer:
Arrow A wide range of knowledge about the game.

Arrow A willingness to help players

Arrow PVP Roams into Low sec, Null Sec and fights in WH space too

Arrow ISK making opportunities

If you'd like to know more drop either myself, Kurbanis Araeleus or Odd Mothball a mail in game and we can answer any questions you may have and arrange to have a chat. We will ask you a number of questions to see if you are a good fit for us and it will also enable you to se if we are a good fit for you.

Or pop into our public channel

Remember joining a corp/alliance in EvE is different to other MMOs

Did you know that there is an equation called The Drake equation and it is a probabilistic argument used to arrive at an estimate of the number of active, communicative extra-terrestrial civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy; of which they estimate 50,000 civilizations fit that criteria.

I cannot promise you Drakes (although a few lost souls have them) but we can offer you an active, communicative, terrestrial corporation that is laid back and allows you to do what you wish to do in game. It’s a good community where you can PVP or PVE to your hearts content. We are particularly looking for EU TZ players.

Did you know the longest recorded flight of a chicken was 13 seconds which is sometimes about as long as my ship lasts in a fight... (sometimes). If you want to get involved in some small gang PVP then check out the details on the first post in this thread.

Did you know that the 3 most common languages in the world are Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and English. Interstellar Nuclear Penguins speaks one of those 3 most common languages so if you want to join a corp where you will be understood then take a look at the first post in this thread.

Did you know that 85% of plant life is found in the ocean... And also did you know that one of the most varied parts of space in eve is Wormhole space where 85% of the day there is a new set of systems to explore both in J-Space and K-Space. If you want to join an up and coming WH alliance then check out the 1st post and contact one of the people listed there for a chat.

It was a little bit of a slow night for me last night. Having logged on to see a fairly decent chain I flew off in my trusty scanning ship to add some more systems and see if there was anyone who would be a nice juicy target. One of my corpies managed to have a WH close behind him, but luckily he had plenty of HS options to use and made his way out to k-space via that and swung around to our high sec static (I never did find out how many jumps he had to travel).

As for me I found a lowly Epithal collecting his PI and being the quiet night it was, I shot him. Sorry KTS. Well kinda not with that fit.

It would seem though that in the wee hours (in the UK) my colleagues had a bit more fun

Did you know that a flock of crows is known as a murder. And whilst in game Crows are rather thinly tanked interceptors that would probably get murdered themselves, I am sure that if we haad enough of them in fleet we could be the ones doing the murdering though... Maybe a wish too far. Check out the first post to read our detailed recruitment thread and and drop me or one of the others mentioned a message so we can have a chat.

Did you know that the average person falls asleep in 7 minutes. Which is 5 minutes more than if you live in high sec. If you live there then in 2 minutes flat you will be asleep. If you want to be alert and have the senses of a bird of prey then come to ISNP Public channel and have a conversation about potentially moving into a C2 WH... see the original thread for more details.

We are still looking to bolster our ranks. Today's focus is the PVE player. See the original post in this thread to find out more about us in terms of timezones and expectations etc.

Living in a WH is not the easiest places to live, but having a high sec static means that you wont go climbing the walls too much as that k-space exit is a mere 1 jump away, our C3 static means that generally we have a fair few combats sites to do (unless it was last night, the C3 static had a grand total of 1 combat site). For that lack of ease you are rewarded with decent ISK making possibilities, OK, not as good as a C6 but then in a C3 ybou dont have to triple box 3 x 2billion isk (plus) ships in order to get the rewards.

Anyway that aside we want players whom have the capability of flying a reasonably fitted ship (BC sized) who want to shoot NPCs so they can get ISK to buy PVP ships to shoot other players.

If that sounds quite nice, then drop into ISNP Public chat and have a conversation.
