I've seen a log in 30 days straight reward once in an mmo. It was a dragon you could ride around in to make your game quicker. Once only released not even put in the paystore, and everything was in the paystore. The only way to get a permanent mount was to cash it up. I got the free one :D





Yeah you'll probably increase numbers. Gotta keep the holiday crowd from splitting from EVE after the time away eh?

Afaik the christmas thing is not cumulative. Everyone logging in on day 3 will get the same stuff regardless of whether they logged in on day 1 and 2 or not.

*sigh*... Dragons again!? Why does this keep coming up on these forums? Dude... for the zillionth time dragons can't breath in space! In the first year of EvE CCP gave everyone a chocobo mount and they froze and died almost immediately. Living creatures make poor spaceships was the take-away. Let's keep the game moving forward and let the space dragons go the way of the chocobos that gave their lives for science.

Sure, im fine with this being implimented.

And then, every day at 11:00 AM Server time, the server shuts down, and everyone is forced to log off. So no one would ever collect the prize.

I had a dragon once.

Then I started taking Olanzapine. Great stuff, I suggest you get some.

CCP did have a daily login reward (10k SP!) in May or June this year, but that seemed not bringing more logins, so they stopped that.
Or if you really want a login reward, go to play on the Chinese server. The skill queue there automatically stops in 24 hours after log off, so there's a huge login reward —— the SP of one day's training!

CCP have been doing this sort of thing for years, and rightly so. The only difference your apparently severe blow to the head post is going to change, is the number of posts that get locked today.
