How to redeem Plex?

Just got some plex as a alpha player and i want to redeem them but I can't figure out how to do it and where the site tells you to click redeem is not in the location.

Hover on EVE Universe at the top right of the forum and select Account Management.

Log in and follow instructions to redeem PLEX. Then log in to the game, click your assets tab, find and activate the PLEX.

That's the thing. it tells me to click on the arrow at the bottom of the character selection screen to redeem but there is no arrow or anything on that screen other then my characters. but the site tells me i have plex to redeem but it is giving me no way to do so

If you are ingame, press Alt + y.

Ok I finally got the redeem thing. not sure why it took over 30 minutes for it to work but i got it thank you.

For newer accounts (less than a year? - not sure) it can take up to an hour. Some sort of security thing to prevent an exploit someone figured out, I think.
