How do I determine all skills that affect a specific ship and or fit?

I am currently training a Manticore Torpedo based fit. I am trying to min-max this build as much as possible. Due to this, i would like to find out all the skills associated with this ship and my fit that will even subtly increase the percentages of the various modules, weapons and core components of the ship. I have searched through eve-mon, EFT and pyfa and only found the ability to increase all my skills to level 5, but I don't see how to determine those skills that are allowing my fit to work, so that i can actually start training the skills. I am at a point where my fit works great with no implants if all skills are level five, but I can't figure out how to see what those skills are to make a skill plan for my pilot in eve. I hope that I have described my problem well enough to allow for precise answers. Please feel free to ask for any info or to point out the hopefully obvious solution to my issue.

I think what you are asking is "Given this ship with these modules and rigs, what are the necessary and sufficient skills to fly it?" Then, "which additional skills improve it, as fit?"

I don't know if that software exists but I would use it.

Evemon will help you to load the skills on to a plan.
Each skill that is required to make the module available, will also help the performance of that module.
You can go into Evemon and each module or ship, will have an option 'Add to plan'.

That's about the best an app can do for you.
It's up to you to pick what level you want to train to, and to comprehend how happy you are with those levels.

Remember that the missile SUPORT skills will help make those torpedos shine.

For a 1-off bomber alt, level IV is good in most cases. Skills to V are where the time starts to add up.
If you use missiles for other things, it's worth it to get the supports to V.

I want to say pyfa might be helpful for determining precisely which skills are being applied and impact a given fit.

If you start up a ship in PYFA, then right click on things in the fitting window, after loading in even a bunch of random modules, you will get a menu that contains:

"Change Modules SKills"
"Change Ship Skills"

meaning that it will show ALL the skills that effect stats, and what the character you have loaded have compared to a 5/5 bar.

Since PYFA knows which skills on "All 5" max out the stats, it obviously shows only the relevant list to match to.

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.

Straight off the bat you need the following;

CPU
Power
Shields
Armour
Hull
Weapons system

All barring CPU and Hull have secondary skills that need skilling up also to improve fitting, look at the skills in EFT to get an idea of what bonus they give or what module if allows you to fit.

Login to Singularity and use the new fitting simulator. Fit the ship the way you want and it will tell you what skills you need to make it work. It's an excellent tool and will be arriving on TQ with the Ascension expansion. Since your skills on singularity may not be the same as your skills on TQ type /copyskills in a chat to bring them over. http://updates.eveonline.com/card/60NNA/fitting-simulator/
