Hello,

I'm looking for advice on how to get my Nidhoggur back. Heres the backstory;

Picked up the Nidhoggur in 2014-2015 timeframe from an empty POS. Came with quite a few fighters and completely fitted. I was pretty happy about finally getting a Carrier. I'd mostly flown the Nag but people told me the Niddy was a bad carrier.

I parked the Nid in a low sec system and hadn't been using it. Around this time Force Auxiliary changes were happening I had a lot of RL things going on and was pretty much not keeping up with patch notes and what not that CCP released. I keep my accounts subbed so that they can continue training and log in just to change skill queue then log out. About a week ago a friend of mine asks if I have any carriers I can rat with. I told him I have a Nidhoggur I'm more than happy to load out and rat with him with. I end up searching my API on all my accounts and nothing shows up. I'm completely lost as to whats going on since I'm sure I never sold the Nidhoggur. I eventually succumb to submitting a support ticket to find out whats going on.

CCP had changed the Nidhoggur I have into a Lif. I have zero use for a Lif and I'm down 600m isk on a Lif. As of right now, a Lif on market is roughly 1 bill to 1.2 bil unfitted. The Nidhoggur is 1.6-1.7 bil on market. The price jumps on Nids went up A LOT. Not to mention the fighters inside of the Nidhoggur/lif are gone. The response I received from support is that no exception would be made on changing Lif's back to Nids.

I just don't understand the logic behind not allowing returning users the option of reverting their own ship. If I wanted a Lif, I would have bought one. Sad

Not exactly the right board to ask, but eh.

If you unsubbed at the time, you may be able to get the ships switched via a polite Petition. If you were subbed, well, ignorance is no defense, and you'll have to sell the Lif and buy a new Nid.
