As in the topic. I would like to know your opinions and suggestions about skills ( and ofc their levels) I should train in order to successfully do sleeper (and maybe ghost ) sites. I currently have all scanning skills at level IV. I guess it would be the best to have archeology and hacking at V, but is by any chance lvl 4 enough? I am also totally uneducated about the combat skills I should have to untertake such operations. I know there are guides on these topics but I would rather to read individual opinions of experienced players. If there has already been similiar thread please let me know and I will delete this one. I am also seeking knowledge about fits and drones I should use, but I guess thats for another thread... Thanks for your time!

With level 5 you will get access to T2 modules.

Data Analyzer I
Virus Strength: 20
Virus Coherence: 40
Virus Element Slots: 3
Access Difficulty Bonus: 5 %

Data Analyzer II
Virus Strength: 30
Virus Coherence: 60
Virus Element Slots: 3
Access Difficulty Bonus: 7 %

you can see the difference?
+20 Virus Coherence from the module
+10 Virus Coherence from the skill (level 4 to 5)

What exactly is the access difficulty bonus? I've noticed that before but didn't have any idea what it actually meant.

So... first, you have to understand that ISK from WH relic/data sites doesn't come from cans, but from ships you kill & salvage.
Next, for doing these sites you require decent tank and DPS.
C1 sites are doable with T1 cruisers or well fit frigate (Astero?).
C2 is just upscaled C1.
C3 is upscaled C2 with neuts. That means you require either huge buffers or passive shield tanks
C4 require T3 or battleships
C5 Marauders/Rattle/Dreads

Hacking the cans is not problem as long as you have 30 virus strength and 100+ coherence.

Access difficulty bonus doesn't matter now. It was used before introducing hacking minigame.

The Coherence is not really all that important. Its the 20-30 Strength that makes T2 a killer mod as in may cases you will kill defenses is 1-2 turns less there by decrease the damage taken.

Yes, LVL4 works fine. Its makes life a lot harder but is more than possible.

What level of Wh are you after?

A Stratios could handle a C1 or C2 (the Relic/data might be a push unless you use bling mods).
As far as skills goes, Armor Tank skills, Drones skills, capacitor and navigation Skills)

Don't bother with relic/data sites in WH space that aren't the nullsec flavor or have a talocan floating around. The isk per site is pretty sad and there are not many giggles to be had at even the more exotic sites.

Covert sites can be pretty good if you've a good ship for it, but a regular relic site will probably pay as much or more, and don't require a buffer tanked strat to clear.

There's a solo shield straitos that can hack a talocan site in a c5 someplace but I've no personal experience on that particular topic.

You will need the t2 data analyzer.

The sleeper caches/ghost sites have one simple rule .... relic analyzer is for looting and t2 will make it go faster, data analyzer is for staying alive (disabling traps), and t2 will ensure that you stay alive.

That being said, if you have those 2 skills to 4, i think you could still do it, and here's why.

You need to aim for 130-140 coherence and at least 30 strength. 40 strength is ideal, but you can only get it on t2 analyzers or Zeugma, on a bonused hull.
30 strength can be achieved by either using t2/zeugma on an unbonused hull (ishtar for example), or using t1/ligature on a bonused hull.
As stratios is bonused, you can reach 30 strength on it.
As for coherence, you can do it with HC-905, EY-1005 and a t2 rig for data coherence. The t2 rig will not affect the new mixed analyzers, but it will affect the regular analyzers (t1 or t2).

Overall, you will find more sleeper caches than ghost sites.
With stratios you can do standard/superior (but not the final room in superior).
In standard you can get away with a single med repper, eanm, a damage control, nanofiber, and a reactive hardener, if you move one of the sentries at start (use lights or sentry drones, meds/heavy's don't track those sleeper sentries well).
Don't try to tank all 3 sentries, you won't make it .... so don't use the tractor beam trick.
Standard sleeper cache is more about mwd speed, especially in the bonus room.

In superior the same fit will work for the 1st room (Solar Power Plant), but do not even attempt the minefield without at least 60k buffer.
2nd room in superior is sometimes preactivated, so you may end up warping into 15-20 angry sleeper sentries that will 1 shot a cruiser with 15-20k ehp if they get lucky RNG rolls.
As superior is less about speed, you can go with 800mm plate, med repper t2, 2x eanms, damage control.
If you end up warping in 2nd room with alarm out, you will be able to last 1 shot, and have enough time to immediately warp out.

Ghost sites, unless you are doing the nullsec ones, are more about speed, ehp, and fast hacks.
So use the superior cache fit, but replace 1 eanm with a t2 explosive armor hardener .... with the t1 explosive rig you should have (t2 data rig + t1 explosive rig) it should be ok overall.
