I was reading through the history of New Eden and found that some time ago that the original Founders who came through the Gate simply disappeared without a trace leaving New Eden to it's current design.

Although one would expect that the Founders went into Jove space I seriously doubt that the Jovians would have allowed the Terran colonists to remain in their space for very long.

So where did the Founders go? Are they the creators of the Sleepers? Are they the Drifters? Or are these two adversaries of New Eden merely sentries to the space between space where the Founders reside and manage New Eden from?

Foundation Missions would take the capsuleer further into the unknown to unlock the Founders mysterious disappearance.

Did the Founders find a way back to Earth and left us behind in New Eden only saving theirselves?

Im pretty sure the implication is that the jovians are the founders, remember they arent aliens

The way I understand it is everyone is human. We're all descended from the founders, just we've been isolated from each other for so long that different societies formed (sort of like in RL).

So the founders didn't really "go" anywhere, they simply became the different races.
