First off, I am not a bot. I used to be known as Nelo Amatin, but last year when my subscription expired I didn't renew it. Apparently, when I renewed this year, my name was lost and replaced by this generic crap. I spent a lot of time on this character and I would hate to biomass him just because of this.

I know this is a shot in the dark, especially since EVE is not very big on name changes, but I really would like this changed.

Any ideas, help, or suggestions?

File a GM ticket you can probably get your name back

A while back they started releasing names that were given to characters on trial accounts if the trial had not been turned into a normal account by adding time to it within a year. If your name was not given back out you can get it back.

Otherwise ask the GM what you options are but either way you need to file a ticket

Also you could not have put all that much time into this character if you lost the name. At most you had 30 days but more likely 21 or 14

Probably the only time a GM will allow a name change.

Do file a petition.

Pretty sure they allow you to change your name if your original one was removed,but it wouldn't surprise me if it was a one time only thing so pick your new name carefully (if people report your name as offensive it can get removed as well).

Petition name change might actually work in your circumstance. You wouldn't really biomass just over that, would you?

'Nelo Amatin' isn't that great, TBH. May I suggest 'Bumblefck's Protege', instead? :D
