Hi M8s,

We're making huge changes to capitals with the Citadels expansion. Most of these changes are on Sisi now and we'd love you to get on there and help us with testing!

Notes:

  • All combat capitals have reduced base Shields/Armor/Hull. There are now capital armor plates and capital shield extenders that you should use to increase the buffer of your capital ship.
  • There is no longer a hard reduction damage reduction v's subcaps on Titans.
  • We've introduced new High Angle Weaponry, these are the 'Quad Mega Pulse Laser', 'Quad 800mm Repeating Cannon', 'Triple Neutron Blaster Cannon' and 'Rapid Torpedo Launcher'.
  • Titans no longer have EWar immunity.

All of these changes are on Sisi, and we'd appreciate you jumping on and helping to test them!

The current stats we're looking at:

it has a big rate of fire bonus. so less alpha but more damage over time.

Doesn't this risk bringing back blap titans using non-HAW guns? Even if the regular XL turrets have hilariously bad tracking, a battleship or high sig cruiser that's eating multiple 90% webs and a few painters is likely to take near-full damage from them.

While you are changing Titans could you think about giving a new Fleetbonus to the rag it is only 3% stronger than a link on a command ship.

All the other titans provide significant advantages but that Rag bonus is never used as the small bonus to Sig is always outclased by the ability of the command ships to field way Stronger aditional Links

They are planning on looking at the Rag bonus when they get to revamping fleet boosts as a whole.

Yes, the sig res has increased by a factor of 20 (from 2 km on TQ to 40 km on SiSi for an Ion Siege Blaster I), but at the same time the tracking speed has gone up by a factor of 10 (0.00437 on TQ, 0.0437 on SiSi). The net effect is that the effective tracking, i.e. the tracking speed divided by the sig res, has been halved. That makes blapping with regular XL guns harder than it is with dreads today, but certainly not impossible.

I have to agree, Rag Command Bonus is outdated.

Things that might be very "minmatar":
    Speed Bonus
    Scan Res Bonus
MWD Sigbloom bonus (thus cumulative with the command ship bonus)
    Warpspeed bonus
    Tracking bonus (totally not op)
    Falloff Bonus (totally not op)
    Reduction in Drug sidefeffects
    Web Resistance
    Ewar Resistance in general

For blapping, they could also use HAW. Where you even hit when the targets do NOT have a transversal of 0.001.

•40% bonus to EM, explosive and thermal XL Cruise, XL Torpedo and Torpedo damage

Does this mean this bonus applies to regular torpedoes? Because it would be interesting to fly a Levi with 250% bonus and fitted with Torpedo launcher II's.

Technically they will have similar alpha as the others, the reason for the extra ROF bonus is due to the HUGE cycle time on the capital launchers.

The Base damage of a missile has mainly been put into the missle itself and it's the launchers that suffer. no bonuses on a LVL 5 XL torp launcher is like firing 1 per 2 minutes.

Yes it does do both but those torps will be very short range - i.e 20km faction.
Also you would probably just go with the rapid torp launchers for even more DPS.

These two points are interconnected :) The 50/40% bonus applies to torpedoes regardless of what launches them (rapid torp launchers or regular torp launchers). There are no damage bonuses on missile launchers.
So yes, you can fit your Levi with Torpedo Launcher II's and launch torps that way if you want. But you will do a lot less DPS because the ROF bonus only applies to XL launchers (XL Torp, XL Cruise and Rapid Torp).

This is why the DPS bonuses for the Leviathan is split up between a damage bonus to the missile and a ROF bonus to the launcher.

80% bonus to Weapon Disruption resistance

Thanks to stacking penalties, no, you'll probably cut 35-40% before every other application doesn't add anything anymore.

Several people have complained about the Ragnorak's bonus. With the changes to XL weapon signature resolution, is this a more powerful bonus than it currently appears?

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.
