When I try to launch via the new launcher it gives me an error message stating that one of the resource files is corrupt and suggests that I run the repair tool, but it doesn't help at all. Here is a screenshot of the error message because the error reporter isn't working for me. http://imgur.com/5ZpoJZa

Go to Settings, Shared Cache Settings and run Verify.

Apologies for the out-of-date message from the client itself.

I have tried both that, and I have run repair.exe and have had no luck with fixing the error.

Try deleting that staging folder in the shared cache completely - C:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\SharedCache\tq - the launcher will recreate it, and settings are not stored in there. For some reason it is not able to replace that file with the proper version - deleting that folder will allow it to recreate it from scratch, and if you have any issues deleting it, that will tell us something, at least.

I went ahead and deleted that folder and it did nothing different. I'm going to try and reinstall eve entirely, this time making sure to get every loose file I can find.

*EDIT*: Uninstalling and manually purging any loose files seems to have solved the issue. Will update this thread if it didn't fix the problem.
