Here's a photo of Eve Online running, full graphic setting, on a chromebook using Amazon AppStream service.

Gaming performance almost entirely depends on internet connection.

Amazon AppStream is charged USD 0.83 per session hour while Amazon's 2xLarge GPU EC2 instance is USD 0.767 per hour (but you get charged per hour of instance existence + traffic and storage). So obviously both options are not suitable for everyday gaming.
MS Azure RemoteApp offers similar function, but its GPU is crap.

Just wanted to share that there is an alternative to Remote Desktop / VNC when it comes to playing EVE on cloud.

Teamviewer is by far not suitable as a solution. If you are planning on running things at home and access it remotely, I'd suggest using a fully configureable remote desktop solution, where you can balance between quality, latency and performance if needed.

Or you just use amazon cloud.
