Faster jumps?

Returning to play after 2 year break. I notice I seem to jump much faster and warp faster too. Just imagining things or was some kind of travel speed buff implemented? (Flying a T3 cruiser with max skills and a warp speed implant)

They changed the math on aligning and entering warp a few years back. It's faster for some ships and slower for others.
