Hey capsuleers,

I just bought a g910 keyboard and only from there i know about the ARX control software, which actually everyone can use (NO Logitech hardware required). All you need is a Handy/Tablet with Android or iOS and the Logitech Gaming Software installed to connect the app with your PC. By default it can show CPU stats or change profiles for logi hardware etc. but i consider that pretty useless.

So the question now, is it possible to make use of the Logitech ARX control software with EVE Online ? There is an SDK but i am no programmer. My idea would be to have a connection via CREST to show different stats which are allowed. Like current skillqueues to make it simple, without running the EVE client (yes i know there are apps for that already). I could imagine A LOT more stuff for it but i also don't exactly know what CREST allows (or plans to allow in the future) and if this data can be implemented with the ARX Control SDK at all.

HERE is a promo video from Logitech showing off some features (first half is only LED specific stuff for the g910 which you can skip), but later on there is an implementation with a racing game, showing off different stuff.
It seems so far not many people/companies are currently developing anything for the ARX. Maybe people just don't know about it (i only heard about it cuz i bought the keyboard). Teamspeak devs might work on an implementation but there is no update on that in over 6 months.

Implementing features to specifically make use of the g910 LEDs could be nice too, like coloring keys red when a skill is close to finish or your shield goes down or whatever (i doubt current ship stats are even available outside the client) but that would only be a nice gimmick, to me at least.

I always liked the G15 display to show stuff like TS3 speakers/notifications or EVEMon skills but with this app actually everyone could have such a display by simply putting it on the phone/tablet, if there was just someone finally programming stuff for it and make it more interesting for a broader audience ;)
