New Launcher on Steam - Beta code

Are you an EVE Player using Steam on Windows? Do you want to test the new launcher? Here's what you do to try it out:

You go to the properties of your EVE Online install. In the BETAS tab, you enter:
BetaLauncherForSteam
in the 'Enter beta access code to unlock private betas'. This should give you the option of choosing 'launcher_v4 - Testing new launcher' in the 'Select the beta you would like to opt into' dropdown.

You will then likely need to go to the 'LOCAL FILES' tab and hit 'VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE', to make certain the the new launcher will be used.

Close the properties window, and you are all set to try out the new launcher.

One word of warning:
Should you choose to try out the new launcher like this, but you then decide to revert back to the old launcher, you will be downloading the EVE Online installation again, along with going through unpacking of files after the download. It not the end of the world, but it is time-consuming, so I want you to know this upfront. Of course, we hope that once you try out the new launcher, you don't want to go back!

Love the new launcher.

One question though, I can't find an auto-play option. Is there one?

Will it be possible to have both Steam-accounts and normal EvE-accounts on the same launcher? or will we still need to use 2 separate launchers?

I can confirm that you can have non-steam accounts on your steam launcher. No need for extra launcher or extra installations

My only problem is that the "Remember this account" option isn't working for me. Have to keep logging in my alt every time i open the launcher, other than that, the new launcher is great! Smile
