It was cold evening at work, nothing to do, just play EvE online.

I was at 4-4 Jita station ,and make contracts to sell blue shield modules from angel expeditions, spining ships at dock Big smile( like all other players ), listen music and read almost all that garbage in local chat ( put in ignore list waves of scummers as usual)Big smile
All this i do before i see a link of Trillionaire site at local, i thought -What a new isk hole-trap for players. But curiosity still prevailed and I decided, having nothing to do, to look there.
i reg on site/ deposit some amount of isk, if I remember correctly 10mil of isk and start playing.
raffles, raffles 1vs1 some loality point spent to buy somekind of newbee ship ( covert it ti isk)
Until then, until I found an interesting game in which the prize was determined by coin toss, you have a chance, and payoffs to obtain an increase in the amount equal to your interest rate is 50 percent. And 50 percent had lost your bet.

Initially having on the balance of about 10 million. I put a minimum on one side of a coin, if you lost the bet on it one more time but increases the bet. At loss bet reduced to the minimum and everything is repeated again.

After about 10-15 minutes of the game, I won about (do not remember exactly) about 5 billion. "Moment of Truth" - I thought, I'll try to withdraw money to my gaming wallet 2.6 billion, in addition to purchasing the site Golem ordered the ship to its delivery station 4-4 jita.
The site remains on my account equals 1 billion for the future.

Performing these manipulation I continued to play the coin toss .
To my great surprise, after 10 minutes on my wallet in the game, there was a transfer of the sum of 2.6 billion. And that's not all, and at the same time issued a contract in which I was offered a golem!

I almost fell off my chair.

before downtime, I issued a transfer to the account in the game more 13 billion, and several ships. During Downtime I logged in to the site not through the game browser and through Google Chrome

What can I say .... I am lucky enough) As a result, the total amount for which I won on the site amounted to approximately 87 billion!

Since the Far East was already quite late, i decide to stop playing, I have just finished creating contracts for sending me the ships from the prize fund of the site and transfer funds to a gaming wallet. Site administrators forcibly stopped this game referring some shortcomings and the need for verification of what happened.

in personal contact with the administrators i explain how I could win, how i bet. how i click on a mouse button and everything else.

We agreed discuss all again after they check the logs (although what there check I do not understand), we will meet in a personal chat again.
I hope I get everything that I won a coin tossing)

Neat story.
Not really in the right section, as this is more a General Discussion post than an Out of Game Event or Gathering you are organizing.
Thus I have moved this Thread to General Discussions.

In a game with fair odds, if you double your bet after every loss, it only takes 1 win to come out ahead.

Assuming you have infinite funds, you come out ahead with only your initial investment.

Bet 1, lose...
Bet 2, lose... (Total loss 3)
Bet 4, lose... (Total loss 7)
Bet 8, lose... (Total loss 15)
Bet 16, win.
You lose 15 and win 16 for a total gain of 1. It sounds like a sure (tiny) win, except there is a very small chance that you get such a long string of losses that you run out of funds. In that case you have lost everything you own.

Since he started with an initial investment of 10 mil, I doubt this was his method.

Uh...this doesn't belong in GD either. Obviously it's an ad ... bogus testimonial.
Right...just selling "blue shield" items, when lo and behold!

You crane and you crane but it still won't crank in!

There just isn't anything that can be said!

Ahh yes, the Martingale Betting system. Problem is it only really holds if you have unlimited wealth to keep betting. If you get unlucky and have a long enough losing streak it can break you. This is a classic distribution with a fat tail, that is, it looks like it is low risk, but there is substantial downside risk if you find yourself in the left tail.

For example, if the probability of winning is 0.5 (and thus losing is 0.5) your odds of losing everything is not that great. However, suppose the probability of winning drops to 0.1. Now you may have to play 10 times to get a win (and even then that is not assured). What are your bet in the 9th play? 2^8 or 256. If you start out with 1 million ISK bets, you’d better have 256 million ISK in your wallet. And it gets worse the lower the probability goes. For example if the probability is 0.02, then you may end up having to go 50 rounds and your bet in the 49th round are 281,474,976,710,656*the size of that first bet.

Basically a strategy with a high probability of small gains, and a small probability of astronomical losses.
