Out of Game Events and Gatherings

I purchased a fanfest ticket for 2016 when they were first released with the intentions off attending the event, unfortunately, it now clashes with a family wedding and i can no longer attend fanfest. So i am wondering if its possible to get a refund on my ticket or if i can sell it for plex as it would be sad to see it go to waste. i have sent in a support ticket about this but never got an answer only got passed a link to the even organizer who i also asked but have yet to receive a reply just looking for some information on this. Thanks
