Character transfer from Steam

Hello fellow captains,

I was wondering if it's allowed to transfer characters from Steam EVE acc to account that is not connected to Steam?

afaik steam is there only to launch the game and some billing. accounts made with steam can use the normal ways of eve ..

You can create your own shortcut to Eve in the Steamapps folder. Pop that shortcut on the desktop and Eve will start without the need to load steam first.....

Also the nice folks at CCP have made it possible to create a new login username and password linked to your account so you can then ditch steam altogether and not have to use the whole Steam ID thingy :-)

Thanks for heads up. I didn't knew that u can creat one login where your accs would be merged. However, my goal is to move all my chars to one acc. One of them is bought using Steam so I want to know if there will be no problems to get it out of there.

Yip it works as normal.

Just use the Steam ID on the EVE login page for the toon from Steam, thats just the same as an account name :-)

Ok, thanks.

Also, I just noticed that both acc must be active when trasfer is made. Do you know the other acc time will also be trasfered? Or is it gona work like dual training?
