What can I train into in 6 months on a new alt?

I'm considering taking advantage of the power of 2 promo and getting 6 months of training time for an alt account, but I've got a question I hope the community here can help me with first.

Is it possible to make a PvE combat alt that can easily blitz L4s in only 6 months of time? If so, what ship & mission faction should I be aiming towards in order to achieve this? Not asking for a skill plan, but I would appreciate a bit more than just "yeah train into a Machariel" or something similar.

If it's not possible, what other path is worth taking for a 6-month alt? Even if it is just to focus-train it to resell on the character bazaar.

I built a near maxed out PVE bomber alt for FW missions in 7 months. I'm not sure if that still is viable as the character was sold before it was put to use.

I've seen several threads on pilots who were doing lvl 4 missions in 3 months.
I think you could have a 'decent' mission pilot in 6 months.
(Raven pilots)

I've trained 'Super Holders" in about 6 months. Characters that can sit in, and hold a super carrier for a main.
Selling them was a break even adventure though... not really a profit center.

Do you mind sharing with me what race/ship/weapon (I assume torps, not bombs) combo you went with? This sounds like something I could get into.

I'll have a look at the skills for flying a raven and see what I can cram into 180 days. If it doesn't leave me gimped (missing major support skills), this will also be something to look at. Thanks.

I'm reasonably sure you can train Gila to level 4 mastery in 180 days - starting from scratch. That ship is easily capable of level 4 missions and you can also fit it to scan and run combat signatures which pay very well if you get a faction drop.

The traditional Tengu can do it as well.

I had an alt running level 4 missions with a T2 fit and level 4 skills. The only thing that alt had to do differently was orbit the warp-in beacon at 5-10 km, or the next acceleration gate at 500m (they are huge), in order to keep moving to mitigate damage. Then it was just a matter of shooting anything in range, regardless of triggers.

What about a Dominix? It's a low SP friendly BS using faction sentries. You'd get a Vexor on the way which is a good cruiser for PvE.

It was this character minus 4-5m sp: http://eveboard.com/pilot/Anastasia_Rigel

The idea was to fly a purifier with torps.

If u wanna make a momey making alt I would suggest to train for logi t2 and join incursions.
If u have time stuff in some PI or exploration stuff.
Probably u can fly a decent tengu too.

It is now pl/n3, not PL/N3 (sacrificed all their caps)

What do you mean by blitz ? just do whats needed to complete the mission? or run the whole mission easily.

You can get in to a decentish fit macharial which works really well for missions with a t2 shield tank and meta 800ac.
You could easily get in to a tengu.
I am pretty sure with some careful remapping, implants and boosters you can get in to a golem.. which imo is the best all rounder (all races and all missions) for hs mission running.

... What next ??
