I have no idea what to train for next,

Do I max out on drones and go drone heavy?
Max out gunnery skills and go max guns?

Or do I max out on T3 Cruisers and T3 BC's I mainly use this alt for solo PvP and fleet PvP

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Unless you are trying to specialize in something, you may just want to get your skills overall to level 3 or 4.

i would suggest you get some skillbooks for jumpclones. those can be quite useful, especially for quickly moving to another station you have been at before.

aside from that, training for some T2 frigates can be very useful. interceptors and covops are both very useful ships for different styles of play, and frigates are fairly quick to train to 5.

My standard reply is:

You don't need MORE skills, you need BETTER skills.
So what that means in my opinion is, you need to get relevant skills to IV and start committing to some skills at V.
Drones need a ton of work.
Gunnery SUPORT skills to V.
Missile supports to V, (if you use missiles much).

"Perfect Ship" is another approach. Pick a ship you fly the most and make all related skills perfect.

Me personally, I'd pump those drones up. Drones help every race, and can actually be a primary weapon system. Weak drones just aren't even close to doing the job that strong drones can do.

Early in my career, I did 1 skill to V every month, sometimes 2. Then I'd fill in the days with III's and IV's.
I still do something similar, but my training revolves around remaps these days.

Edit to add:
Along the line of "no more skills"
You probably don't need every race of every thing right now. You could spend several months, (years) and still not have one solid, kick ass ship to fly.
Focus on one thing for a few months. One race, one weapon system, one ship class, whatever.

For that level of skill points I wouldn't concern myself with "maxing out" any particular section unless by maxing out you actually mean supports to 5, specializations to 4 (which in my opinion isn't maxing out at all, although a great many seem to differ on opinion in the char bazaar forum).

I would work on maxing out support skills first, preferably the ones that affect all the ships you fly not just one niche fit which by the time you finish training you will probably have already moved on. So Tank / Nav / targetting skills mainly.

If you know whether you tend to use drones / missiles / gunnery then work on maxing out their support skills (they may seem long but a rank 2 skill is nothing in the overall scheme of things).

I'd say the support skills are the only ones you need to get to 5 to be comparable to other pilots with ship skills / weaponry specializations to 4 except where needed to be higher

your support skills need some love.

your Engineering skills specifically AWU, Cap Management and Thermo needs to be 5. then Electronic and Energy Grid Upgrades for the fun T2 ships.

your Navigation skills also, dude.
