So somewhat pathetic but I have an Eve gambling issue and have set myself back. I am going to buy a couple of Plexs on 05/15 (yay for payday) but need something to float me until then and get a ship back in place (as well as a couple of other things - no gambling).

So looking for 1B isk with a repayment of 1.1B on 05/15.

So all the usual fare here - I'm not looking to scam anyone (if I was it would be for a lot more than 1B isk). I've been around for a little over a year and am primarily a mission runner. Want the isk now vs waiting so that I can keep running the Enemies Abound mission (which is decent isk for a mission runner).

Not going to beg or anything and I know that without collateral it's a stretch but figure I would give it a shot. Pretty low risk / ok return prop for anyone who wants to take it.

Ultimately, lets not forget, this is a game. Absolutely there are some folks that seem to enjoy scamming people and that sucks that it makes everyone so critical but I guess it is what it is. I'm not really one the people who gets off on stuff like that but I can understand people's apprehension.

Missed the gambling thing huh - I've gone anywhere from +60B to rock bottom (current location).

Like I said I'm not going to beg because, honestly, this is a game and people seem to lose perspective on that.

As far as only having my word - that's really the only commodity that has any value that transcends the game. I'm not going to besmirch mine for $20 game persona or not - that's pathetic. I realize some people would which is actually far more concerning than anything.

You admitted you have an issue with gambling, have no assets and are impatient. Plus you want to use the ISK for missioning, which means you could quite easily lose your ship and the investor's ISK.

Yep - had an issue with gambling, have no assets (if I did, really no need for the loan but that seems like a no brainer in this situation) - not sure where the impatience thing come in but OK - I guess I don't want to have the mission expire but whatever.

I have 4 lost ships in the last year and none of them are from missioning (pretty easy to verify) and really, who cares if I were to lose the ship? I'm buying 2 Plex on 05/15 and will either use it to pay someone back or buy the stuff I need.

Anyway, 4 posts in is way too much work to scam someone and, honestly, I'm surprised that there is so much push back on imaginary money. Oh well, it happens or it doesn't, I honestly don't feel that I need to justify myself further. I'm happy to talk with anyone who is interested in funding.

It's interesting because I've followed this forum for a while and usually find it pretty informative. I'm surprised that there are so many cynical people who seem to think that scamming someone out of 1B isk is high on anyone's to do list. I guess I just must be naive.

Indeed, not going to happen.

You've admitted to having gambling issues. In general any money lent to gamblers should be considered lost.

You don't have collateral.

You plan on getting the money by running a specific mission. If it's easy enough to make the 1.1 B to pay the lender back, then why don't you just mission for the 1 B and save 100 M?

Already funded in game - so thanks to all here for their support.

Hold up my end of the contract? Are you serious? It's $35 for two Plex. I just wanted to try this route because I had seen it in the forums before and was curious. Anyway, people here and their cynicism / criticism don't disappoint. Like I said before, I think that people take this game way too seriously.
