Brave is no longer farming Nightmare Battleship BPCs because we were evicted from Sansha space (i.e. Catch) 1.5 months ago. No-one seems to have picked up the slack on the supply side and Nightmare prices are rising in a strong and steady trend.

Graph: 1 year price history

A year ago Nightmare battleships were selling for over 900 mil.
1.5 months ago they were selling for 460 mil. (aprox. 50% price drop)
They are currently selling for 530 mil. (15% price rise)

If you had some Isk standing idle, there are worse places you could put it.

(PS: Please let me know if you can think of a more pun-tastic title for this thread. I’m really struggling today ;)

1.5 months for 15% increase. Wow, terrible, terrible, terrible lack of supply.

2/10. Close

Why do you think they went down from those 1 bil levels in the first place? Smile

Hint: it's the same reason that all of the Pirate BS tanked, following a nearly identical downward trend.

Unless the Mordu line, more specifically the Barghest, diluted demand for the other pirate lines I am too derp to figure it out.

There was a supply side change.

I disposed of all my Rattlesnake holdings within three days of it occurring.

The supply side is indeed an irresistible force long-term. Smile

Doesn't mean that a short-term retracement of the prior price, in part, couldn't be achieved if you corner the market. Smile

Just be sure to do it with BPCs themselves, as the hulls are generally overpriced, with owners not looking to dispose ASAP - as could be observed in the case of Machariels very recently. Smile

A 9% move from the highs a few days ago, with BPCs back to 330 p/u.

Thant and the fact mission runners dropped their faction battleships for bastion marauders.
