Synth Drug BPC - Station Manufacturing

I was buying up all the POS mods for my synth drug making operation, when I noticed that I could install the BPC for manufacturing in Jita 4-4. Do I really need a drug lab for make synth drugs or can I just make the pure synth in my POS and then ship it to a lowsec station for manufacturing the actual booster itself?
