THIS is why there will never be a nullsec JITA!

Don't invest too much into what a nullsec entity says about how safe its trade lanes are, gather around children we shall hear a cautionary tale about the Jita nullsec that never was.

Not too long ago, this was posted to MD by a pilot living in the Providence nullsec region

NULSEC Trade Hub?
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=412883

In it, he talked about how Providence is already the "mythical" nullsec trade hub we've been asking for, that would protect traders/investors assets and activity

As such a thing would probably be only possible in Providence, then I guarantee that ProviBloc sov holders would be very strong when it comes to defending that sort of thing. As I'm currently living in ProviBlock, I can tell you, the enforcement of security is not shite. When HERO tried to invade Provi, ProviBlock actually gained sov, which makes me heavily believe that security wouldn't be too much of an issue.

Not long after another providence member created another thread asking for traders to work with him

Looking for traders for Trading Project
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=417415

If you agreed to work with him, he tells you in e-mails that he is a Providence hauler that will haul your assets in/out of Providence space, and that there is opportunity to make lots of isk here by investing and trading in Providence

Unfortunately NC/N3/PL etc, decided to head to Providence (to vent frustrations over getting beaten by the CFC). Of course Providence isn't as safe anymore because of that. When I inquired as to the status of the "Trading project" I was sent a e-mail by its owner

Hello everyone o7

I am very sorry I haven't been able to answer your questions or get your courier contracts done. As some of you may know, Providence has been taking a bad hit from CFC, N3 and PL. Because of this, I've had to put all of my efforts and attention towards the situation, as well as have our JF pilots move out valuable assets that my alliance owns. Anyway, this means that the project on rebuilding the Petting Zoo is either put on hold or not going to happen, however, this is probably one of the best things that could happen to Providence from a trader's point of view.

First off, it means that CTAs are going to start happening a lot more, meaning ammo, rigs, modules and ships are going to be of a higher demand, and when the supply of these start to fade, prices will go up, until more is shipped in. I can't tell you the exact fitting for ProviBloc's doctrines, partially because I don't fully know the main Nightmare fleet doc, but I can tell you that ProviBloc has fleeted up in Shield Nightmares, Armor Dominixs and Armor Armageddons during the course of this invasion. What this means is that you guys can make a nice profit by shipping out gear for those doctrines (so just ship out Large Shield Extender IIs, T2 Hardeners, DCs etc) and then having them bought off fairly quickly, when a CTA happens.

Furthermore, just like when Catch fell, things will go on firesales, to get rid of them. Stay in Providence and watch for contracts selling goods for a lower price, and you can make a nice profit.

Sadly, though, we cannot assist our JF pilots at this time, as we need them for things which are of a higher priority in my alliance. You will have to revert to Black Frog, though a better choice for JFing would probably be PushX.

Thank you for reading, and sorry for any inconveniences this has caused.

Fly safe o7

TL;DR Hostiles have invaded, need to focus on my own stuff and my coalition's stuff, but this is a good time to buy low and sell high now that there is a panic, just use Black Frog or Pushx to haul it out :)

Then things go South

FYI - CVA has set Black Frog red, so they can not get into station and Push does only NPC null stations. I know cause I have tried to move my product in with both. I'm not about to purchase a JF pilot, freighter, and make a cyno alt to move my stuff myself... that's starting to become a full time job.

This project is dead unless we have dedcated, reasonably priced transport, which I don't see happening anytime soon. I think I'm out. Good luck to the rest of you.

TL;DR: SHTF, I had no idea both hauler services wouldn't/couldn't operate in our space, unless you have a personal jump freighter, you aren't getting anything out of here. I'm not about to sacrifice my time and money to help you as that would be too much actual work. I just wanted to skim off the top and get some hauler contracts, screw responsibility. You're on your own, every man for himself!!!!

Luckily I didn't invest anything serious into this scheme, but let this be a lesson to anyone that proposes a "Please invest in my nullsec space"

Saw this one coming a mile away, and despite several convincing SPAM evemails to join, remained separate.

Had a good chuckle when I opened those oh sh*t were invaded every man for himself evemails though...

The idea wasn't supposed to be a 'welcome all'. It was to make the market there un-**** so people didn't have to import half of their stuff from HS. I actually gave up on the programme because I don't live there anymore, nor do I particularly care about it. If anything, war is perfect for economy. More firesales to buy off, **** gets sold quicker/easier and for more etc. The hub itself is actually pretty good for what it is. I still have things on sale there providing me a good passive amount of ISK. It also depends what you mean by NulSec Jita. If you mean somewhere in low/nul security space where you can buy/sell things, many of them already exist.

I've heard that YA0 is nice this time of year.

I didn't participate because I looked up what CVA thinks of my alliance, saw they had us set red, and thought 'meh, too much of a hassle'.

I'd like to thank CVA for helping me dodge a bullet here.

I support the New Order and CODE. alliance. www.minerbumping.com

I rarely ever trade out of player owned stations. If the station gets flipped you lose your assets inside it. I'd rather deal with NPC stations. You may lose the assets being hellcamped for a month or so, but you don't lose them for 6 months+ until you can make an agreement with the Alliance CEO to get your stuff back out, or sell it to them at a non-autist price.
