Damaged POS shield and armor

I'd like to have some information about POS.

Does the shield recharge even if the armor is damaged?

Is it possibile to unanchor the tower (when the shield reach 50%) if the armor is still damaged?

Thank you

I believe the shield will still recharge with armor damage but you need to rep any and all hull and armor damage before you can unanchor a POS. Same applies for most mods, exception possibly with research lab but I'm not sure. I was under the understanding that you could actually unanchor a lab and it still retain its contents. I haven't confirmed this last detail but I've heard it.

If not in reinforcement mode, yes, the shield recharge applies.

It is not possible to un-anchor a reinforced tower, or any related modules.

To remove fuel before un-anchoring, the tower must be at 50% or higher shield.

Most towers don't survive upon entering armor.

There was a rumor (can't confirm) of a change allowing un-anchoring damaged POS modules. I also do not know if it applies to towers.

A POS or any of its attendant structures cannot be unanchored if it has armor or structure damage. You also cannot normally unanchor a POS module if it has things inside it. And certain modules will not allow you to even offline it with stuff inside. SMA/CHA/etc.

However, and big WARNING here, you can apparently unanchor an assembly array with active jobs. If you do this, you will lose everything.

Un-anchoring labs and assembly arrays automatically cancels all active jobs in the module.

Materials are lost, but the BPO remain in the module. The BPO can be recovered by repackaging the module. BPC are similarly returned if they have any remaining runs.
