I have surplus isk and am totally afk at the moment so if you're a MD reg who wants credit and has too much tied up in AT ships or whatever then we can do business. You can have a third party hold the collateral at your expense if you wish or I'll hold it if you're fine with that.

Looks like not so many bonds are going on atm. I also sit on around 50B but it is impossible to find anyone safe.

Is it that everyone has too many ISK already so they don't have to borrow or not so many opportunities going on atm?

A little of both of those, plus a whole lot of other things too.

For the previous 4-5 years my alts accounted for a big chunk of the MD loan requests, and a similarly large chunk of the MD loan investments. I pretty much dropped out during the latter part of last year and several other MD 'names' have similarly departed. MD had, for quite a while, been propped up by very few players and the absence of a few is enough to be really noticeable.

Prior to the 4-5 year period mentioned above, MD activity and population was significantly higher and my activities (or the activities of any one player) made up a much smaller proportion of the total MD activity.

It's a lot easier for someone like me to source loans from friends, and I historically haven't needed more than one billion so far. When I think of it, I haven't really needed any financial assistance as of late.

I guess I could drop a loan thread for 300b with no collateral, but I don't fancy getting the **** taken out of me like that.

Yes a face like grendell doing less public loan requests has hit the amounts needed a lot too but let's not forget how uncollateralised loans slowly got kicked out over the last years to the point where they now are allmost completely dead.Everyone wants secure loans so there is more money that can be loaned out , but most who allready have enough to put up as collateral rather not do a loan but dump their collateral to re-invest elsewhere.

So loads more available and a load less needed.
