MOSAIC - Issues

We are happy to announce that the Mosaic Release has been successfully deployed!

Mosaic brings many changes to EVE Online, including permanent ship skins, new opportunities, cruiser sized burner missions, new assembly effects for structures in space, balancing to nullsec and lowsec ores, new forcefield efffects for control towers, a Tech 3 destroyer rebalance and an improved corporate role management UI. Also included in Mosaic are two factor authentication, nullsec infrastructure improvements, balancing of battlecruiser warp speeds and updates to the sensor overlay.

In addition to this, you can take a look at the full patch notes for the Mosaic release here, which gives an in depth breakdown of all the changes that have arrived with this release.

Known issues

* Search box in the new corp roles tab doesn’t work (this has been fixed internally and should be fixed for everyone with the next patch)
..... WORKAROUND: Selecting a player from the search dropdown and selecting a new tab filters correctly


* Unable to exchange tags for security status (this has been fixed internally and should be fixed for everyone with the next patch)

* Reprocess values for zydrine and megacyte are not updated for T2 items and certain structures (this has been fixed internally and should be fixed for everyone with the next patch)

* The "Apply SKIN" section of the fitting screen is hidden when you open the fitting screen, you need to manually expand that section first before you can apply SKINs to your ship (with the next patch the SKIN section will be visible per default when you open the fitting screen).

* The Omen Tash-Murkon Edition was not converted properly to the SKIN system. As such you might still have Tash-Murkon Omen ships and Tash-Murken Omen blueprints. Those ships and items will be converted into the SKIN system at some point in the near future.

Above mentioned issues (and some more) have been fixed with the deployment of Mosaic 1.1 on April 29.



  • Persistent clicking of inactive buttons on the selected items panel will cause buttons to become unresponsive. Normal use of these buttons, is fine however, so please don't spam them for now.

Above mentioned issue (and other issues) has been fixed with the deployment of Mosaic 1.2 and 1.3 on April 30.

erm, I logged in and had 4 redeemable items (ship skins). Checked my hangars thinking that the other skinned ships i had would still be there, and they arent.

So my question is, what happened to these other skinned ships (skins) that have now turned into normal ones?

The newest launcher only shows progress of the progress-bar when the mouse is in the window.

Edit: It seems that there was a new version of the launcher just now, but It did not download much, so I could not test above issue.

The Medium Hyperspatial Velocity Optimizer on all fitted ships is buged, I have now on an oracle 2.7 warp speed even with the rig. Had 3 before downtime today. Tried to destroy and sett up again, and there is no difference in warp speed with the rig on.

Every time I undock, the "Opportunities" tab gets toggled back on again.

This option needs to be consistent through docking/undocking (gate jumps don't appear to affect it). Or you'll have 98% of your playerbase having a useless tutorial option clogging up their screen for no real benefit.

I have.

and the reason i know theyve Edit: messed up -- ISD Supogo, because my alt had 2 ships the same as my main, the alt got 2 skins in the redeem system, my main just had the ships turn into normal ones with no skins in the redeem system. These are 2 seperate accounts, not alt/main on same account.

So I had 35 skins that converted no problem into my redeem queue but I have one left that didn't convert; an "Omen Tash-Murkon Edition Blueprint" left sitting in Jita.

What should I do?

This was from the devblog regarding the transition for special edition ships to ship skins on the market:

"Any special edition ships or BPCs in the market or contracts will be cancelled and refunded the ISK it cost to put them up. The ships and BPC's will then be converted over as normal."

I don't seem to have been refunded any fees myself; has anyone else had this issue?

Well I can log in to the launcher it starts the client however no character selection window. I can start the exefile however also no character selection possible. Yes I did restart the pc that didn't help either.

There are different settings stored for space and for stations (and also for planetary interaction and the old map). Once you have disabled it in both space and station it should stay saved.

fast clicking is not working, u have to have 1s delay between clicks to be applied!

So you had 4 ships turn into skins, and then other ships that should have turned into skins but only turned into regular ships?

So you had 4 ships turn into skins, and then other ships that should have turned into skins but only turned into regular ships?


correct.

and 2 of the same ships that i had on different accounts, 1 turned into a skin, 1 turned into a normal ship.

And we'll be adding settings for the opportunities soon, allowing you to more easily disable the UI elements, but it didn't quite make it in time.
