My Blockade Runner Alt Plan (did I miss anything?)

I'm planning on a Blockade Runner Alt. I ran some of the skills against maps so I can have a useable (albeit maybe gimped) hauler before hand for non-valuable cargo. I'm planning on 60 days, and I have another skill plan for freighters and or jump freighters that can take him out to 5 months depending on my cash flow/PLEX. If you are bored, would you mind looking it over to see if I missed anything? Thanks!

Evasive Maneuvering V is essential for blockade runners (and fast to train)

Secondly, what fitting were you thinking of using?

Can remove Navigation 5, Shield Upgrade 4, and Shield Management 4 and make room for Evasive Maneuvering 5, and have the plan end in time.

I'd keep Navigation V... it comes in handy if you ever find yourself in a bubble

update your skillplan, reduce it to the final level you want to reach...
e.g. Shield upgrades 4 not 1,2,3,4...

mechanics and hull upgrades 4 or 5 are missing
you are flying Gallente transport ships

there is no need for shield... armor repairer, damage control, expanded cargohold, energized adaptive nano membrane, AB or MWD and accelerated control

Though I agree that tanking skills are somewhat pointless for a BR, I don't agree with all of your suggestions.

You want to be able to survive a smartbomb while cloaked. This is really only a major concern for Caldari Crane, with 0% EM shield resist, and fitting an EM shield amp is sufficient to fill the hole.

10 MWD is essential, and all BR were in fact modified with additional grid to fit one.

Expanded cargo, both modules and rigs, may be frowned upon, they are both useful. Cargo rigs are really only useful on Caldari & Minmatar, but all BR should carry cargo expander modules to fit as needed.

I also use istab modules, which are also frowned upon by others when used over nanos. However, I'm the pilot, not other people. So I have 2x T2 cargo rigs on my Cranes (I own at least 4... lost count), istabs or cargo expander modules fitted as needed.

All BR were also modified to give a second high-slot to a probe launcher. It is very handy to travel through w-space, which sometimes is the best option when the gates are camped.

We are talking about GALLENTE Blockade Runner...

Med slots could be fitted like this: AB, MWD, EM resistance amplifier

I'm assuming you inserted remapping points just to state your attributes and illustrate the maximum efficiency.

Personally, I would not waste two remapping points for a 60-day plan. Save those for when you need higher multiplier skills trained up. (i.e. if you decide to turn him into a freighter pilot)

Thanks for all the input. I am currently considering just moving it out to a 90 day plan to fit a few more core skills and not have to play with the bonus remaps (unless he gets 4 now, in which case I will use a couple). I'm not sure why a previous poster was talking about armor reps/hardeners, because from everything I've seen industrial ships are shield tanked.

i always fit ecm burst to mine, shield extender and mwd, lows with warpcore stab and inertias, incredibly agile ship

Basically this, but I partially disagree with the fit.

I'd use 2 T2 cargo expander rigs, because the lowslots are enough for the extra agility (considering stacking penalties) and sooner or later you'll need that extra cargo space. The armor penalty from the cargo rigs is inconsequential, since I agree that BRs should always be shield-tanked (passive) to not penalize agility.

If you want to warp faster, I'd suggest a +8% warp speed implant, it costs less than 10mil IIRC.

If EVEMon added Mastery Skills to plans, you wouldn't have to do this :)
