Trading - 141 Day Challange

Hi Guys,

I have set my skill queue for 141 days. So i want to see how much ISK i can i acquire by doing nothing but trading.

Previously i have bought plex and sold it and that's been my main source of income. Now i am working on purely buying and selling. I have set up 2 seperate divisions in the corp wallet to keep track of sales and purchases.

I started the day with 334m and now sit at 1.2b. Obviously i won't go into specifics but i have been purchasing and seling a wide range of modules, drones and ships. in small quantities for the moment until i get my capital up.

I have currently set 500m for purchasing items and the remaining for sales.

I hope to do a weekly report on my blog to show how i do.

You started with a PLEX and around 3 months.

Your results will depend on several factors - aside from your actual know-how and place, your capabilities to adapt and finaly the time you want to invest you can land everywhere between 1 and 100 billion Smile

100 billion from just millions in 141 days? Damn, I better double check what am I doing wrong... Roll

141 days is almost 6 months. 100 bil seems like an achievable goal for that amount of time. I'm currently at 14.5 bil, and in 6 months, my estimates are well over 100 billion.

lame you started with a massive amount of capital, I started 5 days ago with 50k isk and my rookie ship. now im at 544k and a navitas.

Well like i said i used to buy plex and then sell it on the market so my wealth in game was driven only by my wealth out of game.

Whilst that hasn't changed unless i start trading my outgoings will far outstrip my ISK income. So trading is the only option.

If you keep up that ratio you would end up with over 1 trillion within 5 years. However with more money comes more work and at some point you'll probably get bored of it. Most rich people find other means to make isk without too much effort. I don't consider myself rich, yet I am already getting bored...I should start looking for alternatives soon :) Besides like VV said you have to have your own limits and once you reach them you can call it a victory and actually focus on the fun, rather than simply making ISK. I think I'll follow this example.

I understand hows in the long term I could get bored. At the moment though there is so much for me to discover eventually I hope to be able to speculate based on market trends. Buy high value slow moving items but for right now I like what I am doing. I should mention that this is my main account, aldur saken is my trader and I am doing this to really fund my future adventures. I want to be in a position where I don't have to worry about isk.

That's 900M profit on day one while your link to eve-mogul shows < 3M profit for 2015-03-15 and 32 M profit for the whole month.

The some transactions don't appear to be fully showing. I think it could be due to some trades being spread out across accounts and not transactions have a profit percentage for some reason. But truthfully I an not sure why.

Hi guys,

I am doing a mid trading report hopefully tonight with some graphs and more info but to give u some figures since Monday i have sold 1,618,274,069.44 isk worth of stuff. I sold 6,271,925 items.

I purchased 580,874,112.46 isk worth of stuff over 16,214 items.

Good start i think.

What is the software to calculate profits you use judging from those screenshots on the blog?
