Just found out that DDR4 now actually exists as a purchasable product. Anybody have builds that are using it?

I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe...

Intel X99 boards and some server ones support it. That's the only thing I can think of right now.

And those get expensive pretty fast.

My current rig was built with EVE in mind, but that was a simpler time when I was a fanboy. I'm going to ride this rig into the ground, and after it dies I might consider finding a way to update my skillqueues from time to time. Maybe.

Significant price premium for similar or worse performance compared to DDR3. But hey, each stick requires 0.3 less volts!

Hmm actually I guess they can be bought clocked higher now. But still a useless expense for an average desktop.
